COME ON!!!! This is complete BS! The patch worked fdine foir me, why do people have to suffer becauset he patch did't work for the slim. They should just delete the patch and play it off-line, now people like me who could play with the new patch can't play the game anymore!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't yell at Bioware; go do this on the Xbox developers forum and maybe if enough people do it, Microsoft will quit incompletely testing updates.

Did you get a new disc? BTW the patch didn't **** up only Slim users... MOST people were screwed... about 5% could actually play... Thats not even close to enough to allow that to continue...

When are people going to realise this game is BROKEN! Jesus. It's just a terrible programmed game. How it passed testing in the first place is beyond me.

I'm unsure if bioware is still looking for input but I thought i'd chime in anyway.  My system is the FF13 console.  Some DLC (WK, RTO, Blood Dragon Armor and Shale) and patch 1.04 allowed me to play just fine.  After today's essential rollback to 1.03 I am still absolutely fine.  Even loading saved games I used running the 1.04 patch.  My only notice is that tool tip screens during load screens aren't showing up and my load screens seem MUCH faster. Again, not sure if it's helpful but I just wanted to throw it out there in case it is.

Here's an added kick in the balls. I successfuly loaded an older save, and proceeded to overwrite all the 1.04 gamesaves (since they're all busted) and now every new save is corrupted. Damn you, you smelly pirate hookers!

So here's another kick in the balls. I loaded up an older gamesave (loss of 1 hour.) Began overwriting the old slots from the 1.04 patch (as the gamesaves are incompatible now.) It seems every damn gamesave slot used under the 1.04 patch is permanantly corrupted now. Damn you, you smelly pirate hookers!

1.04 gamesave slots are corrupted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm feeling rather lucky. Installed 1.04, everything worked perfectly. Then got the rollback, not realising there was this corrupt saves problem. But all the 1.04 saves I made still work perfectly well, and I've saved over them and reloaded since. *Uli pats his aging Elite*

Have they put up figures somewhere? I heard that 87% of all statistics posted on message boards were invented.

So, "Playing it offline", with no ability to use ANY DLCs is OK, but playing a game missing a patch that changed so little that you probably couldn't tell the difference between patched and unpatched if you tried is "suffering"?

STFU and stop whining...

I gotta agree with the others who said this is BS. I had no issues with the newest patch and have put a few hours on the game since the patch was released. Now you tell me that I gotta replay all that cause people with the newer 360's could not play with the 1.04 patch. The way I see it the many are being punished cause a few (mostly Xbox 360S owners) couldn't use the patch. I will just pull the ethernet cable and continue to enjoy the 1.04 patch. I'll not have my game rollbacked to what I would call an unplayable state.

Editied to remove angry rant as I have waited like 6 months to get a decent patch for Dragon Age so I could play it and once I get one they take it away cause of issues for a few. I did not react well to this news.....

Damn it... 1.04 worked perfectly for me. I started a new playthrough and have done Lothering, the first part of Orzammar and am in the middle of Broken Circle. *sigh* Well, I guess it's a case of sacrificing the few for the greater good... (although I am not sure if the Slim owners are in majority?) EDIT: Since 1.04 is rolled back now Bioware have an opportunity to make sure that bows and crossbows get fixed! That would be a nice consolation gift.

For some reason during dialogue scenes, every few seconds (usually after a character finishes a sentence) the corners of the screen flash black for a split second. This also happens at the exact moment of choosing a dialogue option to reply with. I'm unsure if this is related or not..

I don't think anyone thinks that it is "OK" that 1.04 made it impossible for what seems to be mostly Slim owners to play. And the dex fix for daggers actually made a noticeable difference.I just wish that Microsoft and Bioware either would have found a fix for everyone by now or somehow let those who had no problems with 1.04 keep that update and fix it for the others ASAP.

I had no problems with corrupted saves, thankfully, after the update and the rollback downloaded.

I'm not sure if its coincidental, but I had a couple of wierd things happen to me. First when 1.04 was downloaded, it said it couldn't load any saved games with the Amulet of the War Mage and Embri's Many Pockets (both DLC from the Dragon Age Journeys game) so I had to re-download them. It was just a tad annoying, but fixable :). THEN with the rollback, all my audio and video settings were set back to defaults. This was obviously fixable, too, though I don't remember all my previous settings besides subtitles on in convos (my TV speakers don't preject voice dialogue well so I have to turn them on to know whats going on lol).

I'm not complaining, I was just wondering if those occurrences were because of the patch and rollback?

Oh Geez, My current play through has unplayable saves now since, I use only 2 saves at a time and both became 1.04 after playing for a while. I'm sad. 12 hours down the drain. To think I was lucky, because i could play 1.04 with no problem. But I'm not gonna hate on Bioware, they have a load of stuff to deal with. I hope they fix extra stuff as a consolation. hint hint, Ogre's Keeper achievement?please?

I heard somewhere around Certification Process just means to check whether a Title Update is a problem to the console itself (overheating, hard crashes such things) or not. CP dosent mean, MS goes through the Update' commands line by line. Thats task of the developer. But I may got it wrong from somewhere.

Anyway...the patching history is a pure mess. I feel with Bioware and I hope it wont affect their reputation. At least we console users are currently able to notice you give the best you can offer to us now. In german I would say "oje..." to all of these happenings...must be something like "jezz..." in english.

If I have no issues with the patch, what's the point to rollback and have my saves corrupted, when I can play with the patch without proplems, and wait for the new patch and then clear the cache and update the game again 1.04 ?

They could either have the patch 1.04 up and running, but then many people can't even play the game. Or they could re-roll the patch to 1.03 and have all play the game. Even if you cant load your saves because you allready saved it on the 1.04 patch, you can still play the game. Just start a new game. Us with the 1.04 patch problem couldn't even start or load a game. In other words, unplayable. So it make sense what Bioware did here.
