I agree as well.  I was finally able to resume my corrupt save game for one night, and then the next night (back on 1.03), it is unplayable again.

The last bit of news was that they were "hoping" to get more info on the situation on wednesday. That could probably mean a date and a time. If you've seen on this forums, that never happened. 'If' they are going to say something, today is the last day before the weekend, so if we dont get news today, then don't hold your breath through the weekend. Then check back on monday, August the 2nd.

Does any know if the new dlc (Leliana's Song, Golems ) will work without the new patch? Or maybe I should ask what patch is required for them to work?

No I'm not wrong and YES you should know that. Given that 1.04 wasn't out when Leliana's Song was released and given that most played it just fine then you should absolutely 100% not need to ask a silly question like "does it require 1.04?"

Now considering that as we speak 1.04 is NOT yet released and that it is not yet determined if the 1.04 patch will be released by the 10th we can be mostly 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% sure it will not require 1.04.

IF such a huge problem as buying a DLC and be unable to play it had happened there'd be plenty of threads in the support forums about it so a single half second glance could give you the answer.

A simple tiny grain of common sense such as "oh LOOK Leleiana's Song came out on the 6th and the failed 1.04 launch was on the 21st" will do great wonders for you and spare you tremendous ammounts of time that you'd otherwise waste asking silly questions.

The patch WORKS just fine.....they just have to figure out why the slim and elive versions are not registering it so once they figure out a workaround then it'll be done....no reason to take their sweet time on something that already works just fine.

Really? Because Lilith still keeps showing up after you get her to the Vigil. Have they also been able to get Velanna's Exile to work?

I don't remember those even being included in the 1.04 patch to begin with but if they were then you probably got the rollback to 1.03 which would have obviously done nothing for you. 1.04 is NOT out right now.

I never said that 1.04 fixes EVERYTHING and cures cancer but everything it was intended for will work fine with 1.04. You have to understand this: they will NOT add any more things to 1.04.....they are just adapting it to work with slim and elite 360s....that's IT. Other fixes will be included in future patches and BioWare has confirmed there will be more patches.

He asked what patch he will need in order to play the new DLC that comes in August and Leliana's Song.

From my download source, it says that you need the latest patch (That's 1.03 NOT 1.04) with Leliena's Song.

If you have other source, please share.

Sorry if my questions caused a controversy. It's just that I was uncertain because when I did a search I couldn't find anything relevant and I hadn't played the 360 for a while. I guess I am cautious since I had all of my specializations locked up when 1.03 came out for RtO. And yes, I am aware of the patch roll-back of 1.04.



Thank you, Master Bandit for all of your help. I do have Awakening and patch 1.03 so I can get Leliana's Song and wait on the Golems of Amgarrak until patch 1.04 is re-released. It's no big deal for me to wait.
