Bugs aside its a good expansion.
Unfortunately, for many of us the bugs spoil the experience, especially in conjunction with the bugs in the base game.
Agreed, that and the price is enough for a lot of people not to bother with it, not to mention that 1.04 doesn't even fix all the issues people are having with it. Would be nice to see a price drop though, kind of like an apology for taking nine months to fix the game.

And, while they're at it, maybe they'd like to remove the character limit.... :innocent:

Maybe they're getting on MS's case to make the patch a huge DLC that fixes more stuff. One can dream in futility, right? Maybe it was all a ploy so they could say to Microsoft "See, your restrictions have failed! It is time for them to be removed!"

There's a character limit? How many characters are you allowed to have? Maybe it is a good thing I lost my other saves otherwise I wouldn't have deleted them myself lol.
After thought is it Microsoft's fault? Why didn't bioware just release the patch as free dlc anyway that fixes all the known issues since release? I hope the patch comes out soon though I've been holding off my second awakening play through because the first time never imported any of my choices right and I got block and was unable to do Ogren's and Ander's Companion quests, and ogren(sp?) is the man.

10, maybe? The annoying thing is that if you import to Awakening, that character counts twice. Additionally, Leliana and Hurlock saves (from LS and DC) count towards the limit as well. I'm sure there are reasons for it, but it's a right pain in the arse -- especially when you've got a pretty big HD.Maxtasha242 wrote...

Wouldn't it be great if they took Maxtasha242's suggestion and released the patch as free dlc. They could have it to cover all of the issues and make a lot of customers very happy. I know, I live in a dream world, don't I?
Other games have done it so it is very possible, I really think that MS needs to take another look at the restrictions on patch size, I mean I don't know anyone that has an xbox and not even the small 20gb hd, you can pick one up for less than you'd spend on a game, and with the update that lets us use a usb stick as well, there's no reason that the size limitation should be so low.

Good point. I believe you can buy up to 16 GB flash drives for cheap, so this should make it possible for anyone to have space for updates now.
Also, good to hear about the patch update.

As an update, Microsoft is finishing their testing and certification and we are hoping to hear from them soon. If everything checks out ok (and for the moment, we believe it will), we'll re-release this week.

We have Burnout Paradise as an example. The called version 1.9 has 1.2Gb size! And it's required to play online.
DA has no multiplayer and can't receive a patch huger than 4Mb?
