I would love to know if the rogue in da2 is as good as it was in dao.

I loved playing as a rogue so i am wandering if this will be changed.

A new class would be such a huge change from Origins that I doubt we can guess a likely one unless we can read the Dev's minds.

Specializations, however, we might have a chance of dreaming up a likely one!

Mages were able to spec into tanking, so I wonder if we'll ever see a rogue super-dodging-duelist-zorro-V type specialization, that dodges and parries reliably enough to tank?

I really hope that they either re-do or eliminate the Arcane Warrior specialization. I just think that they toake away the fundamental balance that keeps mages from being too powerful.

Ir's been confirmed that the 3 classes from Dragon Age are returning and are the only ones in the game. Also read somewhere of some type of fire mage specialization. Might be a rumor though.

If that's true, which I doubt since this IS the internet, I'm playing a no-holds-barred Azula-style psycho for at least one of my playthroughs

no they said that you can max out fireball spells and stuff like that. sort of the chain thing but instead of inlocking new things and thats it, you can stick to one spell if you really like it and max out its power. i wanna see some more blood mage spells!!!! join my group if you like blood mages (Tevinter Imperium). id also like to see warlock or necromancer specializations for the mage :)

new classes would make the game a bit more enjoyable but only 1 new subclass for a class? thats bad...unless u meant that it was 1 old subclass and a lot more subclasses.

A similar thread already exists. Please continue discussing potential new classes or specializations there. I doubt BioWare will reveal this information in the near future. I ask you be patient until they do. Thank you.
