And they even helpfully show you the hints. Plus, it's the only way your constant Revan-visions and Bastila's mysterious Force Bond make any sense.Giggles_Manically wrote...
I was amazed at how many hints were thrown at you, but you never could see them until you played the games.Sarah1281 wrote...
I wish I could agree but I played KotOR2 before KotOR and my brother played JE before I did and I happened to walk by the television when he got the 'Li revives Death's Hand' cutscene so both were blatantly obvious. On the bright side, I could see all the foreshadowing on my first playthrough.Giggles_Manically wrote...
KOTOR and Jade Empire had better twists IMHO.
That being said there were more in Dragon Age.
I can understand though why Luke yelled:
NO Thats not true thats impossible!
Which is what I yelled at Malak when he dropped the news.

I did that a few times.KnightofPhoenix wrote...
Becoming Darth Revan once again, leading the people that followed me to hell and back once more, punishing the Jedi for trying to use me and turn me against my own empire and conquering the galaxy was an awesome ending.
My personal ending though?
I took the chance to get out from the darkside, and then dueled my former apprentice one on one again, and ended his quest for power.
Meaning my ending is the real one, if you ask Mr Lucas

I liked so many parts of it (Revan's mysteroius disappeareance aside) but the lack of an ending ruined it. From the minute the Jedi decide to cut you off from the Force (I didn't happen to kill them) and Kreia kills them all, the game makes no freaking sense.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

At least the good part was Kreia dying, because no matter what side I chose (Light or Dark), she hated me for it. Game limitations of course, stillf frustrated me though.
Then there was Colonel Tobin...that bastard.

Funny, the finale of Kotor2 hit my soft spot because Kreia at the end said she loved my character for being neither light nor dark. That's one time in history of gaming where my affinity for taking the middle road actually paid off in recognition. But then the whole game was pretty much written for the sort of character i picked, so that's just icing on delicious, moist cake.Caak7i wrote...

On the plus side, I did like the improved version of Pazaak and winning all the games. Only wish DA:O had this type of game; maybe DA:O 2 will have something similar.

Heh, I never knew she would say that if you stayed in the "gray" area. That game gives you a "gentle" push to go light or dark. But I never enjoyed Kreia at all since half the time I talked to her I could never gain her approval even when choosing different dialogue choices. I did not use much at all; T3-M4 and Canderous were my buddies for most of my games.

Although getting yelled at for both giving a guy who begs you for money some credits and for not giving him anything was really annoying. There were only two options! I had to pick one!
I didn't think she was yelling. I think she was proving a point. That maybe no choice is right, because you can't know the consequences for sure. I think she is trying to make you mindful for the future.
I liked that part actually.

The good thing was you got her very early and had more time to unlock her interesting dialogue. Other characters like HK-47 (love that droid
Yeah, I remember that scene: either he gets robbed and knocked out (killed?) by a stranger or he beats a passerby and possibly kill him. Since my jedi were always rich, they just shelled out the money. Try to reason with Kreia and boom, negative approval.

Hmm, you could ultimately be neutral in the end? I thought the game forced you to go light or dark in the end. KOTOR did that in the end, so I assumed the same would apply to the sequel.

I think that final dialogue was based on where you'd place on the light/dark scale, and there wasn't really huge decisions thrown at you at the end that'd significantly shift alignment unlike in the first game. Or maybe just the choices i made evened each other out, dunno.
Oh, I do not remember at all since the game was released 7 years ago. Ever since playing an old SW Jedi game where the game forced you to go light or dark depending on a crisis moment in the game, I assumed that the games would eventually force you to take one side or the other. The only crisis moment I can think of at the moment is the gathering of the Jedi at the Dantooine Jedi Enclave (when Kreia betrays you) though you could kill them off if you were on the dark side.

I read that too, but I think that project is good as dead. Too bad, bits of what I read would have made the game better. Do no want to give spoilers incase of the .00001% chance that it will get released eventually.
