I love choosing funny names for some PCs.
Paragon Bob would be funny as hell.
Sounds more like a children's tv show than a awesome person though.

I actually hadn't thought about his name in that context.

Speaking of funny names, when I was back home, my bro named his PC Frederick.
And it made Nathaniel's banter with Anders hilarious:
Nathanie: You seem rather attached to that cat, Anders.
Anders: It's more that he is rather attached to me. Isn't that right, Ser Pounce-a-lot?
Ser Pouce-a-lot: (Meow!)
Nathaniel: Isn't that name a little... ridiculous?
Anders: What do you think I should call him? Frederick?
Nathaniel: There are worse names, I suppose...
And my bro was like: "Hey! wtf?""

I thought Tegan was talking to me for a second on my first time.
Teagan: Its .. Thomas yes?
Me: HOLY CRAP!
Thomas: Yes Mi' Lord.
I was ashamed.

I think I need to sleep, as I first thought you were asking if there were any Dwarves in the European Union.
There is one actually
That is a very bad example of a "dwarf".

True, not the best example. But no human can compare to dwarves really.

I beg to differ.
Let me introduce you to Stefan III of Moldovia or more commonly known as Stefan cel Mare ( Great )
Now this guy was less then 150 cm in height, and yet that did not stop him from repelling both Hungary and Poland from trying to take over his country...and when the turks came, instead of doing the reasonable thing and making some sort of peace treaty with them, he bluntly told them to **** off, despite the fact he also had to content with the Tatars.
Now this wasn't the Ottoman Empire led by a weak fool, oh no sir. This was Sultan Mehmed II's empire, the same guy who conquered Constantinopole.
Stefan was still unimpressed. He let the turks come in, with an army of over 100.000 men, he let them advance and then he utterly crushed them. When Mehmed returned with an army of almost 160.000, one year later...he won a battle against Stefan...
What did Stefan do? He pulled back, engaged in guerrila warfare and then CRUSHED THE TURKS again, and if that wasn't enough one year later Poland tried to invade Moldovia again with an army of 80.000, any by tried I say that they got slaughtered by a ruler who had already faced armies way over 300.000 men in total with a country less then 1/15 of the Ottoman's Empire size.
Now yeah, that's Stefan the III of Moldovia, and he laughs at Bhelen and Paragon Aeducan. He ruled for almost half a decade, he only lost one battle ( from which he was able to recover ) and he fought against countries with vastly superior armies.
He was also a devout Christian. When he won at Vaslui he fasted on bread and water for 40 days and refused to have the victory attributed to anyone but God. He built a monastery for almost every single victory he won.

Very impressive. And I noticed that the battle of Vaslui almost looks like Loghain's plan for Ostagar lol

Yeah, the first thing that went through my head when I saw the battle plan for Ostagar was: "Oh, so this is Vaslui...maybe we aren't so screwed." That thought died when I saw Calan giving the order to charge.
Now this is why I believe in radical leaders: Every single good Romanian leader was extremely radical. There was even one guy who tried to build an army once ( and he did get over 30.000 men together ) to conquer Istanbul, apparently he had a claim to the Byzantine Throne.

But he was mostly, if not exclusively, on the defensive. But I guess every era has its own men and their specific traits. Sometimes radicals do get things done.

He was, true.
Mihai Viteazu on other hand....well just say that if Rudolph II had not been such an idiot, he could have destroyed the Ottoman Empire.

Okay, question to you all. That dwarf that is with Endrin when the framing thing occurs, the one with the most gigantic dwarven nose ever known. Who is he? Lord Bemot? Lord Minot?

Question to you dwarf buffs about the plural (and apologies if this has been done)...
'Dwarfs' or 'Dwarves'? Is Dragon Age consistent with either?

As cool as a Dwarf with a Sledgehammer might look...it does feel unrealistic for him to have such a large weapon.

Both my dwarve rogues were duel wielders. Sereda was duel swords, and Missa was a cunning/dex rogue. Seriously, Awakenings is ****** easy with her, nothing touches her. My Orlesian (Vardel!) was sword and board, it was nice to play a tank.
*eta* not done a Missa show off picture in aggggesss. Minaleth from the forums here drew her for me, it's now my background and all sorts of rad:
