Almost...done with...Deep Roads..just..a little..longer.

Stick in there. Finish that up and you might only have to go to the Deep Roads one last time on your Calling.

The Deep Roads arent that bad to me, although I played Diablo, and Titan Quest a lot.



Overall you get rich going through there.

Because its most likely a long monotamous killing fest for most.



There is no way to get lost, you just romp through darkspawn mob after mob and only in the end do things pick up. Also:

Ah yes, giant spiders. Arachnids of a large size which tackle you to the ground and eat you.

We have been mauled to death by this claim.

Even the spiders wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for their webs of death.

Edit: And the queen not staying on the ground for more than five seconds at a time.

Pffft it wasnt my first time through,it was my first time through on a more difficult setting. I 've played through the Deep Roads more than I can remember.



This time I brought Ali,Leli,amd Wynne. Then replaced Leli with Oghren when it made me have to have him in my party.

It sucks that Oghern takes until the very end to be able to wear the Legion of the Dead set fully.

No it takes me until the final fight almost to put Oghern in the full suit since even when pumping his strength he is just a little short for the limit:

ie you must have this much strength to wear this suit.

I dont use it really.

I mainly used it to see what different mage builds could do.



I wish I could have Gorim instead of Oghern though, even though both are voiced by Steve Blum.



Actually having an Origin specific companion would have made it really cool.

It is much worse if you attack the spiders by yourself. When one completes their overwhelm, another one slams you to the ground and so on until every spider had their turn. But it makes killing them much sweeter

Yeah, I don't like the spider overwhelms. The most surprising overwhelm I had was from a werewolf who knocked down my leather-wearing dwarf. When I panned the camera around, her legs were spread and she didn't look like she was wearing underwear. Just a bad angle at the time, but sheesh. A little too grisly. =p
