Missa was a smart rogue.

Dex/cunning all the way. The way she is in a character/RP way was that I wanted to create a smart duster who was capable of ending a Blight, and to find solid, good reasons why Alistair/etc wouldn't step in and try to take over.

Finally updated that lengthyAeducan DNM/Broska DCM fanfic of mine and I think I went all mystical...

Ah well.

As for my DN canon: he's a dual wielding master that sometimes switches to the Shield of Aeducan when he's fighting small fries. Just out of nostalgia. The one in my fanfic is more on sword/shield though.

EDIT

Soignee, i think Missa's swearing has rubbed off on my Faren. He's been a bit gruff lately and it's ALL YOUR FAULT!!!

You are bloody insane Raonar. Really liked the discussion between Loghain and Raonar though.

Ashley hates aliens. TIM, going just by ME2 information, says he doesn't hate them but that if it comes down to advancing humanity's interests or, say, not screwing over everyone that's not a human then he'll pick the first every time and points out that other species have their own version of Cerberus but that it's legally sanctioned while Cerberus just has illicit support.

Ashley doesn't hate aliens. She's simply recognizing the very thing TIM is claiming -- that they are just as much as humans likely to put their own well being first when it comes to making hard choices. If taking this into account is supposed to be hate then you'd have to say she also hates humans, because she measures them with the same stick, too and expects just as much (or little) from them.

Very true tmp....but that results in her reunion pissing me off in a very big way since she does believe in EXACTLY what Cerberus stands for.

It's almost as if the atmosphere of Horizon contains massive amounts of stupid.

I really didn't think Kaidan's was all that bad. He stayed true to character, he was reacting to what he perceived to be his friend/girlfriend letting him think he/she was dead for two years unnecessarily, and he was going off of the information he had about Cerberus...which was about everything you found in ME1 which was unilaterally negative.

*Is grateful that he choose Kaidan*

I wish you had the option to get rid of the decals on your armor. Instead my armor sets always have this stupid little stripe of grey on the arm/head.

---------------

In other news I've heard that Bioware is going to make the armor in DA2 ridiculous. Thoughts?

@KoP -- forget Bhelen pictures, you should be reposting Dain's pictures now that they're lost to the other thread. Do eeeet!

Edit: @thegreatski -- what about the kestral armor? No stripes.

Edit2: Re: DA2 armor -- I'll just accept it at face value since they're also changing up the body models and it sounds like they're changing the animations, too. I like what I've seen from the screenshots they've shared. My only regret is that it may not be possible to use tmp's awesome hairstyles for the DA2 engine. I've refrained from creating a Hawke in the toolset because I may not be able to use it for DA2 since graphics may be overly different. =p It's only August? Damn, March is a long way off.

^Xbox or PC?

Edit: Nm, I see you have xbox. I don't have one myself so I don't understand how they work. I've seen people say they can't get DLCs via Xbox. I assume some Xboxes don't have internet connection or something?

I was fine with Kaidan on Horizon, but when his message ended with:

I DONT KNOW MAYBE, i just laughed and then moved on.

Also playing a DC while just slightly drunk is very fun. Corona FTW.

Well how sure would you have preferred he sound about a relationship that ended with the other person's death two years ago? Anything more would be too presumptuous. 'I don't know, maybe when all this is over...' sounds a hell of a lot better than 'So I dated someone else while you were dead but don't worry, it wasn't serious and we're still together. I know I don't approve of your actions or your new boss because I think they're evil incarnate but even though we don't know what the future holds or if either of us is going to do something or has already done something the other can't get past, I want you to know that I'm still holding you to the flirting and one night of sex we had two years ago. Don't cheat on me.'

Then again I really felt that Horizon was running on stupid fumes at that point so that ME2 Shep could have a clear shot at ME2 LI. Nice job bioware!

I was on the fence about staying committed to Kaidan for ME2 because anything could happen in two years and I had no idea what to expect. Plus I really didn't want to wait yet another two years for the next Bioware game to see if the romance would go anywhere. I hadn't really made up my mind and was just taking it a mission at a time when Horizon rolled around. I was really blown away by Kaidan's intensity, his declaration of his feelings, and how strongly he stuck to his principles. In short, he yelled because he cared. The follow-up email cemented that he was still burning a torch, but was not putting any designs on her in the meantime. It reminded me very much of Alistair sticking to his principles at Landsmeet (albeit for different reasons) and I appreciated they came across as their own persons rather than being yes-men that are along for the ride. At that moment, I knew that my Shepard was actually going to wait another two Bioware years to finish the trilogy with Kaidan. I thought they did a good job with Horizon -- they had to make it believable that the virmire survivor wouldn't remain, that the door was open for moving on or for a possible reunion. I'll be looking forward to the youtube videos of those that decide to move on and run into him again in ME3 to see his reactions.

Smokes and mirrors to cover up my OT:

Atrast valla dwarven friends,

I thought you might be interested in this story since I used our discussion here on lyrium.  A little dramatic license on your suggestions may have been taken.  :P

Probably why Ski doesn't want to click. :P

In regard to ME2, Horizon was a a rather contrived 'break up' method for Ashly/Kaiden (who I tend to leave to get nuked in most plays). Seeing Liara is a lot better in my opinion and mush more convincing in staying true to her.

About Ashley. YeaI do not think she genuinely hates aliens and we know she hates the Terra ferma party and Cerberus. However, she also says in the Citadel: "I can't distinguish the aliens from the animals" or something to that effect. That comes off as speciest, though I do not believe she genuinely hates them.

My fave dwarves are: Gorim (I wanted him as a permanent party member SO badly, esp. when playing as Lady Aeducan), Dagna, Sigrun and the Aeducan & Brosca backgrounds. If ONLY the other backgrounds could have been as well developed and moving. (Dalish elf, I am looking at YOU!)

I think that comment was supposed to reflect the idea how Citadel is a mix of dozens of species, some never seen before by your average backwater colony human. And while some of them are aliens some are just aliens' pets or whatever. It just doesn't work well because the game has only like 3-4 different alien models, but the overall concept is easy to buy because these things can be hard to tell. I mean, suppose you're an alien, you land in large Earth city and you see this:

http://www.polyvore....ze=l&tid=644739

is that sentient alien or animal? hell knows...

But she, as an alliance officer, should know that Hanar, Elcor, Turians, Volus, Asari and Salarians are sentient beings and not animals. In-game, the comment she says comes off as an insult. Maybe if this was said at the sight of a Hanar, than it would be more acceptable though as an Alliance officer I assume she is given basic info on each species.

If I was an alien whose civilisation has diplomatic contact with Earth and has an embassy, I think I should know that this dog is an animal and not a sentient being.
