I do deeply loathe it, which really shouldn't be a problem for anyone else. And I don't try to shove it in people's faces. If occasionally mentioning it (less than other people mention their various loves might I add) is annoying then I'll try to bring it up less. Of course, I only ever mention it when someone else brings up DN/love interests and even then not all the time.

Yes but every time someone talks about you are quite loud in it, and come off mean to many people who dont agree with you about the DN/Love Interest thing.

"Quite loud in it"? I say something once (and not every time either!)  and only elaborate if someone asks for elaboration or gets all 'oh, why not?' on me. If me saying I don't like a pairing is mean to people who do then that's really kind of sad. Do you personally take offense every time you hear someone say 'yeah, Leliana is a good character but I can't really see her as a love interest'?

I have never said that! I've said 'I don't like the idea of the DN doing romances at all.' Which is true. And a valid, though minority, opinion. I'm not judging anyone, if other people want to do it I really don't give a ****. I don't recall if I specifically say that whenever i refer to the DN romance but in the future if I absolutely must bring it up I'll make sure to add a disclaimer so no one that really shouldn't care what I think about about the matter doesn't get upset, okay?

I don't. I go to the romance threads because they are more active than anywhere else and I'm perfectly content to have my HNF/Alistair or my anything elven/Zevran. You don't have to be so mean.

I don't know she sounds young, around her mid to late twenties, but her face morph makes her look much older like she might be in her late thirties. I just bite the bullet and mod her face to look the age I think she should be rather than try to rationalize it in my head since I can't get the math to work so to speak.

Why didnt they release a tool set for Awakening?

Hopefully this is not an indicator for DA2.



Also I peg Sigrun to be in her early twenties to 25 at most.

Hmm, well, the Raonar Aeducan in my fanfic looks like this. He was originally blond and had dark blue eyes, but turned into this because of a strange incident in the deep roads that I will explain in chapter 11, which I am even now working on.

And I'm toying with an idea of a romance between them right now, though i might die of old age before even getting that far, not to mention that I don't even HAVE an Awakening fic planned yet.

Dwarves on the whole do look older than their age though.

Bhelen and Trian look older, yet the Dwarf Noble cant even be in his thirties.

It's not so much that we need a new toolset for Awakening it's that we need an update for the DA Toolset that allows it to open and view Awakening assets as Builder to Builder resources, Warden's Keep and Shale are both DLCs that on some level have been incorporated as B2B resources. Why they won't release the update is anyone's guess, maybe it's an omen of things to come or they just don't do it ever for DLC of any kind (unless they do:unsure:) and Awakenings is considered DLC not a true PC style expansion pack.

The toolset says Trian is 25 and Bhelen is 21. I know toolset ages shouldn't be trusted, but these two seem right.

So the DN is between 22 and 24. My DN is 22 for now.

So each of the siblings in the DN origin were born one at a time then.



Overall though its hard to guess at any dwarves age exactly though from look alone.

I think that in general Awakening suffers from really poor character design, Sigrun and Valenna aren't very well done and Anders looks way too much like Alistair for his own good. Most of the random NPCs look like genetic missing links with abosoluelty monsterous faces Bann Esmerelle's mouth is like half an inch wide but her face is so big it looks like she's got swollen glands or something. It just feels really rushed like the character designer woke up one day and decided that he had to make 150+ characters in an afternoon and spent a few minutes on the companions and major characters and a few seconds blindly hitting sliders on the NPCs. Or maybe there is something in the water of Amaranthine that causes birth defects, I dunno.

I agree overall Awakening just felt rushed out the door.

And thats not even counting all the bugs, and other issues.

I perfer Sigrun to Valenna on my team.

I get that peeople have chips on their soldiers but even my Dalish PC kills her off now, She got like zero depth in Awakening.



Sigrun is cooler though but mainly its funny failing at a disarm or lockpick and hearing:

Both aren't mine, they're out of the Redesigned mod. The first is the Aesthetics version of Sigrun and the other is I think Version N of Valenna that I modifed a little bit myself. I don't want to take credit for work I didn't do, I'd have done similar changes to Sigrun and Valenna myself but Pete beat me to it.
