I've always thought so. Posted Image

In a few weeks, I'm probably going to feel compelled to do a Pollyanna Aeducan, too.

Not an Aeducan. She's a noble Hunter from her Dead Duster Walking fic, though, as Sarah pointed out, she doesn't have a brand.

indeed, I didn't paint it on as I want to include it in my portfolio as a non fanart. When she gets to the surface she gets it removed anyway.

Oh, nice. How does one go about removing a brand anyway? You wouldn't think they had the technology. Magic?

*waves hands* wizard did it, Sarah. Magical healing... or something.

I reckon there still would be a faint scar, though.

By the Ancestors, Chapter 11 is FINALLY up on FF.net.

Now all that remains is for people to start saying how not believable everything actually is.

Is the brand for a DC an tatoo, or an actual "brand" done with hot iron like for cattle?

It never says in-game but the subject came up awhile ago in the last thread and I think the general consensus was tattoo.

Well, you can take it off so I think the tattoo thing is pretty fair.

errr, I phrased this wrong but I'm too tired to phrase it right.

WHAT SARAH SAID

I agree, I don't think skin brands that way:sick:

Tattoo because it can be any color in the CC and surface merchants have to apply a temporary brand when they peddle their wares inside Orzammar.

I can see tattoing criminals if they were caught, or people in a certain level of society.

But branding someones face with hot metal would be way to far. But it would add some serious drama or issues to the DC origin.

*Wishes DA had scar options like in ME1*

@ Costin. Artanis dies?!?! No wait, don't tell me, no spoilers.... A shame if he dies, I liked him. But this could pave the way for a new Protoss leader that would hopefully be a major player in the Protoss unification campaign.

I tried to get Starcraft 2 but Bestbuy, Future Shop, and the Walmart I went into one by one were all out.

My sister, who is still in London, saw the SC2 posters everywhere and wanted to ask me if I wanted it, until she realised they were getting sold out very fast, so she bought one immediately. I still can't believe how my 14 year old sis remembered that I used to like SC1, or that she even remembers it, she doesn't play games.

God I love her Posted Image
