Rica is a few years older and practically raised you. She can remember 'your' father before he left and your mother before she became an alcoholic.

So humans, we're all familiar with what good-looking humans look like,
in theory, but everybody's got their own preference. So elves are a lot
more slender; they're like the running--my joke is that it's the
magazine, so humans, that's men's fitness; elves, running magazines,
they're lithe, they can go forever; Dwarves they don't read magazines,
they don't really care, but they're tough, stout...they're the
"strongest man in the world", they're the guy that can throw a beer keg
over a house. Female Dwarves are cute, curvy little roller-derby girls,
and so on and so forth like that. So that's the actual physicality of
them.

MG said ...

The other thing we did, and because we were redesigning all the
characters anyway, is that we've changed the rigs--before, I mentioned
that the rigs were basically shared across all the different races. So
for Garret, he now has a custom human rig. Elves have a custom rig.
Everybody's going to have a custom rig that really helps force the
physicality and make those races distinct. I, myself, am a habitual
dwarf player; I really think they're really cool, and you're going to
see that they look really awesome in our game. That's a pretty flat
ending, but that's really all I got to say: it's gonna be awesome
.

@ Costin. Artanis dies?!?! No wait, don't tell me, no spoilers.... A shame if he dies, I liked him. But this could pave the way for a new Protoss leader that would hopefully be a major player in the Protoss unification campaign.

He dies....and yet at the same time he does not die at all.

Mysterious like that I am.

I got a challenge for you Knight, complete it on Brutal. Almost there myself, would have done it some time ago if not for the fact I was recording and rendering every mission for youtube. Oh and you have not answered my question if you will play it on EU servers or not :P

...I have Kaidan and Liara with me at the final battle and suddenly Liara's all 'sacrifice the council to save human lives.' WTF? I know Kaidan's all non-supremacist but it would make more sense hearing them from him than an asari.

In Mass Effect 1 the NPCs exist along a paragon - renegade scale.

So there is always the voice of paragon to listen to.

Kaidan is the most paragon, while Wrex is the most renegade.

Yeah but it's really immersion-breaking for Liara to insist on killing the Council to minimize human losses.

Edit: Plus, when I had Kaidan and Liara on Noveria she was the one advocating saving the Rachni. Was that a Renegade thing to do or something?

Well unless you Renegade Kaidan he always votes for the nicest option in ME1.

Whats really imersion breaking is watching Wrex argue to save the council, with a renegaded Kaidan.

I kinda agree, there really should have been a check for whether the person for killing the council was asari (thus, Liara) or not. Maybe if it were Morinth or Samara it would not be so weird, but I highly doubt that Liara would truly call for the coucils destruction...

None of the companions lines are very different from the base line of the paragon and renegade lines there.
Hearing Wrex go on and on about saying this is bigger than just humanity and stuff was wierd, especially from Wrex. Thats like hearing TIM saying "today I will start an orphanage just for batarian orphans, free of charge!"

Both would leave me going Posted Image.

If I recall though, I believe the "advice" portions in ME1 where the squad mates give advice to you is just randomized- so if Liara is in the first slot, she'll always advocate the renegade choice or if she is in the 2nd spot she'll always be paragon. There is no logic or character insight there.

This is slightly ALMOST NSFW especially for implications but it's a tribute to the dwarf commoner in a duncan-less origin. I did it for the competition but it also got me out of an art slump..lawl.

Oh, I like it. I don't think it's too inappropriate to post. I mean, have you seen some of the things in the Alistair thread? There's a picture on the current page or the one before with a naked Warden only covered up by conveniently placed bows. I think the rule is no nipples and there's not nearly enough shown in your piece to risk that.

Touche. I just don't like to risk too much when it comes to the unfortunate implications I'm showing lol

I will try and do taht, yea. Maybe not on the first go, cause it's been years since I played SC1. Or maybe it's more challenging if I start on brutal immediately. Would be fun.

Oh and for the question, I don't know. I mean, could someone in Syria play in the EU server in the first place?
But if I can, yea sure I would play there. Hopefully you would be ready to have a Protoss player play by your side Posted Image

It doesn't matter where you are from, but that you will have an enGB copy, as such you are stuck on EU servers....I think. ( not sure though mind you ).

Brutal is quite very challenging. I used to play ladder on Warcraft III hardcore mode and it still kicks my ass now and then.
