Seriously, the bodies in DA:O for dwarven men actually looked proper. If they end up obese in DA:2, it shan't sit well with me.

Dwarves are meant to be fat, or well bulky whatever term you prefer, because they are smaller but still have the same muscles as humans. But yeah that Guy looks like he has a beer belly.

The dwarf male DID have a bit of a belly in DA:O as well, but it wasn't offensive and definitely didn't hang in front of his pectorals. That guy is just way too fat. Hopefully that's not what they'll all look like.

Concept art is concept art. They are not going to look like that. I'm a little amused by the moaning over the human female like her legs are actually going to be twisted like that in the game. They're not bothering to look for screenshots of Hawke's sister, Bethany, who demonstrates it's clearly not the case. (And she's got a cute curly hairstyle, which will be fun if that style is available to Hawke in CC.)



There are dwarf lovers on the dev team. Dwarves are not going to be treated like a joke or the stay-puff marshmellow man.

I'm more wary of the possibility they will end looking whatever way they end looking not as a joke but because the devs genuinely think that looks good and is a change for the better...
