I think dwarven armors and shields are my favorites in the game. (Although I like the ancient elven armor on elves.) I've got Alistair in a set of generic heavy dwarf armor (siiiince we're headed to a Landsmeet he's not going to like) with a round dwarven shield and it's really becoming.

And the stuff like Oghren's sketched in... it's interesting and angular and non-human without being lolspikey or ridiculous.

^Kinda why I was annoyed that the dwarf armor found in Kal Hirol was just a retexture of heavy human armor. =p

Everybody loves a good dark colored armor.

We're done talking about . . . whatever the hell was on the last page now, right?

*Is feeling awesome because he just killed a Cougar with his bare hands in RDR*

He works the magically-expanding and -shrinking Legion armor, too.

Yeah, he's a little grumpy about modeling.

While I am glad that armour changes to whoever is wearing it and we dont have a dwarf, elf, human and Qunari sized armour its a little wierd to go from the legion of the dead armour on Oghern and then having Sten wear it.

At best if it fit Oghern it could cover what Sten's legs?

I wonder what the armor and weapons in DA2 look like?

I'm not liking what I've seen so far. It's spikey.

Spikes are bad. They're structural weaknesses.

Why is plain armour bad in Fantasy?

Armour with spikes, or skulls all over it is just... wierd.

I've wondered for years why WoW didn't include an option to turn shoulders off. The sizes and animations were getting to be too much. I love simple armor! =p

Shoulders are for protecting your neck, not allowing you to join the turtle club

Odette: Is it really necessary to do that in front of me when speaking of my sister?

More so knowing that that posture is the exact same one Gorim uses in the opening of the DN origin as well....

That's because he's not wearing a skirt kilt.

He wears a veridium dwarven heavy armor if you have the improved atmosphere mod, and that sort of changes his overall look.

Oh yeah, different time zones. Here it's nearly 2:30 AM and if I had any plans to be up before noon tomorrow I'd be asleep. And I'm so willing to bet it still won't look as cool. Posted Image

Bhelen does it better than both combined.

Does this strike you as the pose someone would do when witnessing a brother apparently killed by the other sibling? Only Bhelen can pull it off and stare at Ivo into submission.

What is this . . . "sleep" thing? I've got the house to myself for the week. Time to party.

Hooray for insomnia!
