Gorim says: "We're expecting our firstborn before the Spring." That doesn't really rule out adoption. Besides, if Varric wants to be referred to as female for whatever reason then it's only being polite to oblige.

Though I make it a point to disregard everythin that DLC shows of what might have been, especially when it comes to dwarves.

Gorim practically married so he could survive enough to meet the DN again and give him the shield and letter. But the DN dies and then he dies in the battle of Denerim.

Talk about a dark fantasy, guh....

I downloaded the new DLC tonight and... they were not joking that it is recommended for "experienced" players. I have not yet completed it, have to gut that hideous creature. Attempted the last part five times and on my last try I reached the 2nd phase to only have the stupid thing to get stuck in a wall which made it impossible to hit it.

My issue was that I didn't think to check my inventory before I imported the character over. I simply don't have enough health/stamina potion to survive the final fight in the second phase on hard/nightmare difficulty. (I have less than 10 health potions and 5 stamina potions when I start phase 1.) I don't really feel like starting all over again since I did beat it on normal. I'll just make sure the next dwarf I import over has a metric-ton of potions.

Heh, thanks! She's the same as my original character, only different hairstyle. It's amazing how hairstyles can really change things up. I sort of feel like Alistair is making out with a little girl with the two pigtails, but I adore the messy strands (same as Flemeth's messy hair) so they cancel each other out nicely! =p

It's from tmp's tucked hair mod -- you'll go crazy over the selection of hair styles (look in gallery to see what I mean):

The only FYI you should know is that if you download the hairstyles with earrings, that the color of the earring is tied in with the hair color. For example, if the PC had blonde hair, the earring is going to be extremely yellow.  If it's brown hair, then it'll be toned down and look more normal. If that makes sense.

Just beat it on NM with no casualties on a lvl 24 import (with a nice amount of potent and greater poultices). I must have gotten lucky with my timing on hitting the switches because on the 2nd phase only 2 critter corpses arisen to attack me. Before I had a mob of elites and bosses swarm over my party which annihilated my party. I think this DLC was meant for a Awakening import because those skeletons hit HARD.

The bad news is I missed o e of Darion's notes so I have to go back and find it. Argh.

*Found it, it was in a chest nearby the room where you fight the Harvester. Glad I did not have to run around hitting switches to find the last note.

Oh, that's an awesome design! Where did you find that? I didn't see anything in the bioware store. I agree on the DA merchandise being underwhelming. (I recently bought from the Mass Effect store, but nothing from DA was even interesting.)
