Exactly. I like how simple the design is, how it means something (I dragon Alistair just fails, really), and how it's not a cliche black gamer t-shirt.
I would rock that with my high heels, fitted blazer and red lipstick, let me tell you. *fingersnaps*

Some statements I'd like to make:
female dwarven women are awesome, and sexy!
My female Aeducan is probably the BEST character I have ever created in a videogame. She is definately the best-looking I've ever done, and I can't wait to showcase pics of her at some point somewhere in the near future (though they're gonna be bad quality since they're from an Xbox 360/digital camera combo)
-My female Aeducan is also the best character I have combat-wise. She is a Rogue POWERHOUSE! Mix typical Rogue skills with Duelist/Legionnaire Scout talents, and you get near-instant death to all melee opponents. Heck because of this and the looks, as well as how I played out the story with her, she's close to becoming my cannon Warden.
I've seen people express hatred for Ohgren in the forums, and I just want to say that these people I just don't get at all because OHGREN IS AWESOME!!!!! My favorite drunk dwarf in any franchise.
The Dwarf Noble origin is my favorite
Dwarves in Dragon Age: Origins are, as a collective race, probably the most complex characters overall. I LOVE that Bioware shifted Dwarves away from stereotypes and we see many dwarves who are dishonorable, many who are straight-laced and don't drink really, and have personalities besides JUST the axe-swinging bearded powerhouses we always see.
There DEFINITELY needs to be a female dwarf romance for a male PC in a future Dragon Age game, if said LI isn't in Dragon Age 2. And I seriously don't understand the people who vehemently object to such a suggestion.
Aimo's comics and artwork based on dwarves is among my favorite work on DeviantArt.
So those are my declarative statements. Hello, fellow Dwarf-lovers

Screenshots of your dwarves are always welcome. There is also a DAO dwarf contest going on if you have anything you'd like to contribute for the fun of it!
Yes, there definitely needs to be a dwarf romance LI. We'll see if it's possible in DA2. I don't get the objections either. RP reasons, OK, but cosmetically? Dwarves reach shoulder-height, big deal.

I was iffy on Oghern till Sarah pointed out a line that smoothes over the whole dead Branka thing (thanks Sarah!). Hearing him say "today I am going to be the warrior you taught me to be!" was worth it.
And then you get into Awakening and he's forgotten all of it and is basically a clown, a clown that you can't laugh at because he'll disapprove.

Maybe he cant be fixed and is just a shattered person.
At least you can mold him into something respectable, or close to it at the end.
However making him a gigantic running gag is not funny.

Gilsa- My screenname here is pretty much what I go by myself, since its my XBL gamertag, but people have called me "PureMethod" or "PMA", so feel free to use either of those or come up with your own nickname. Also, just clicked the link for the current Dwarf contest, and I would definately love to enter, but unfortunately the current fanfic idea I have for my F.Aeducan can't come to fruitation yet, as I gotta focus on one story at a time and right now I'm on an M.E. fanfic. HOWEVER, when I get to it, I'll share this fanfic with this thread or future thread if this one gets closed. It'll have some F.Aeducan/Alistair stuff, but the main focus will be flashbacks and also going into Orzammar Politics, and more interactions between her and Bhelen.
Personally, cosmetically, Dwarves appeal to me for the extra reason that I have a major Napoleon complex (due to being short, like 5'7", I know it isn't THAT short but compared to the rest of my family I'm pretty damn short), so I naturally get attracted to shorter women anyway.
Oh yeah, Herr... Thats sexy! lol but seriously I love the flirtations Ohgren does with the female Warden in Awakening. So funny and the responses you can pick are rofl-worthy
Corker- Thats AWESOME!! I'm assuming thats clay, right? Even playdoh, perhaps?

But she is so awesome that she succeeded in impressing her player even before we got to Lothering. And I think probably a dwarf noble- born to be a warrior- does the most convincing BAMF of any origin.

I hesitate to post in here, because I'm honestly not sure how much gameplay my Lady Aeducan will get.

This is awesome, Addai! I love the animations for the finishers on boss battles and Ogres. My favorite finisher was when, in my F.Aeducan save game, I was fighting the High Dragon at the Urn of Sacred Ashes site, and she ended up finishing off the dragon. The stabs to the head, the backflips and loop-arounds... It was an amazing sight.
If you are an artist, you should defintely do a photo manip and do it as an Aeducan tribute

If you find yourself faltering, just remember that you get a total Alistair backshot in the romance scene. Youuu can doooo eeeeet.
I agree -- there's something about carrying the family shield in this role (if you're going the shield/sword route). Also beating down your treacherous brother with the shield is cool as he's got his own and you're just watching two family emblems clash repeatedly. =pAnd I think probably a dwarf noble- born to be a warrior- does the most convincing BAMF of any origin.

OMG ADDAI IS POSTING A REAL DWAAAARF. =D
The character/ romance stuff is not as appealing to me on a dwarf PC, though she will romance Alistair if I get that far. I just have to keep taking action shots of her doing BAMF things. If you find yourself faltering, just remember that you get a total Alistair backshot in the romance scene. Youuu can doooo eeeeet.
I've made her a DW warrior, but might respec her to 2H when I get a little further along. I've been playing a 2H arcane warrior and the finishing moves are really sexy. In a chopping-heads-off kind of way.I agree -- there's something about carrying the family shield in this role (if you're going the shield/sword route).
