It quite is. I just woke up.

Anyhow, here is the latest War of Shadows chapter.

Dragon Age: War of Shadows - Chapter Five: Natia.

Oh btw, something that Dwarf fans might find amusing and close to heart at the same time.

Hitler rants about Dragon Age II

Goes on about the removal of Dwarves and Elves as playable races...hell I agree on THAT ( it's my only gripe with the changes they are making )

I've seen that video before. Its funny as all hell. Probably one of my favorite Hitler rants (and maybe on my favorites, too).

Only thing I wished he mentioned was how players aren't playing as the Warden. But its just my opinion. Otherwise I agree with everything else said :).

Given that we're spending ten years or so in freaking Kirkwall and I do not care about Kirkwall and neither do any of my various Wardens I'm glad we're not playing as the Warden.

Of course, I don't want to be misunderstood again so let me say that I know very well that the fact that I am pleased with this particular decision giving the setting and length of the sequel, I know that other people's Wardens could harbor a secret fascination for the place and am not trying to tell other people how to play their game.

Edit: I do hate everything I've learned about Hawke's family, though, don't know how having an apostate sister works and think that 'Bethany' is an out of place name in DA.

Sarah, why do you care so much of what others on the internet think of your oppinion, seriously this is the INTERNETZ for a reason...rule one: Don't give a **** about what others think unless they make a good argument.

P.S. Thoughts on latest chapter?

I will miss out on not playing a Dwarf.

I lost count of how many lines you get that are dwarf specific.

But oh well since Bros dont like it, EA removes it.

Because it seems like have the time I post anything, people misinterpret what I said, don't think I've put in enough 'BTW THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND NOT FACT', draw all sorts of implications that I didn't mean, ect. It's very annoying.

I'm eating lunch right now and then will need to do the Anders prompt and then I'll look over your chapter.

Again Sarah, why do you care about it? :P I certainly do the same, and could care less of what others think ( save for a few ).

Because I'm younger and more sheltered than you not to mention you have thicker skin? It's not like I decided 'you know what, I'm going to care what other people say/think about me', I just do.

You know Sarah, you could very well just put a disclaimer in your forum signature and a very big one in the FF.net profile with a nice "This is just my opinion so don't fret by GAWD".

That would solve all of your problems. And those that still start on the "YOU'RE SO WRONG" path would just be the ones worth ignoring because they conveniently skipped that part...

Yes, I know this is just wishful thinking. So sue me...

EDIT

@Costin

You mostly know what I think about your chapter already ;)

I just hope you don't make it too depressing later on (from the picture of Natia in your WoS thread, I'm assuming you'll even slay the Guardian of the Urn).

I am sorry to disappoint then, as they will all die.....slain by the mighty nugs in their conquest of Thedas!

In all seriousness, I have something quite morbid awaiting at the end of the story.

 No room.

There must be at least 10.000 words in your profile alone...scary.

K people, I just bought 2800 microsoft points and going to restart my Canon playthrough, just for Witch Hunt. I am also going to dowload Soldier's peak and maybe RtO (Loghain being the only reason why I would buy the latter). Do you think I should also buy the Golems of Amarrak DLC? Does it have some story behind it or is it irrelevent?

I actually meant no room in my signature but I just copied my profile into Microsoft Word and apparently it has 9,985 words...Posted Image

Ok, one againt. A few more votes and I'll see.

Actually, maybe it is a good idea to save a few points for ME2 DLCs, I hear they are much more accomplished than DA ones....
2800 should be enough for me to get Soldier's peak, Witch Hunt, RtO and the 2 ME2 DLCs, maybe.

Don't waste your money on GoA. Seriously, I've seen mods that rival it in quality. It's just a dungeon crawl, with a somewhat interesting backstory but nothing really relevant.

Soldier's Peak is the best DLC for DA (along with Leli's, in my very humble and Leliana lover opinion). Of course, the fact that it was developed alongside the main game makes all the difference.

Return to Ostagar is worth it for the Wynne-Loghain banters. In and of itself it's nothing special, you just kill some darkspawn in Ostagar and read some interesting codex entries.

EDIT: Soldier's Peak..... Warden's Keep!!!

*facepalm*

Kasumi and Overlord are far superior to anything that Dragon Age has. Overlord has Templeman giving quite a far bit of voice acting.

Thanks Zjarcal.
Ok, so I most probably won't be getting GoA. I suppose I'll get RtO, but that's really only for the banter.

@ Costin. Hmmm, tempting.
Maybe I'll only get 3 DA DLCs.

I would only recommend GoA if you're a lore enthusaist. I'm under the impression that the monstrosity that we deal with in GoA will show up in DA2. Nothing we do in the DLC itself means squat (there are no decisions to be made) and Dace isn't going to acknowledge what race you are (much less care you're a dwarf). It's still very meh overall, but I like that any new characters I start automatically have Dace's necklace equipped.

Too bad that your canon is a HMN because I thought Loghain really shined in RtO if you never acquired the dog in the original Ostagar. I would have recommended that you skipped dog for this reason, but oh well, that's what you get for not having your canon be a dwarf. =p Loghain does have different dialogue if you take him without Wynne. When those two are together, you just hear more back and forth. You can always do RtO twice, heh.

So just heard a funny line as a DN.

ME: So um... How do you get to Orzamar from here? (in lothering)

Alistair: YOU dont know where Orzamar is!

Morrigan: He's on the surface you idiot!

Alistair: OH.

Got a giggle.

I loved that part. When I asked it it was kind of embarrassing when Alistair was so disbelieving but then Morrigan was right there to explain the whole thing.

Well I am recreating Dain and he lacks any sense of direction.

Minus the fact that the roof keeps on moving, its so wierd to him.

Oghren=best sexually related comment dispenser in the game. Honestly though, I don't care what you say, he was a lot funnier in Awakening than he was in Origins.

The DN origin story is my second favorite as well, you got betrayal, a fight to the death in the deep roads until your ass is saved by Duncan, and most importantly, you have your wingman/minion (depending on whether you like him or not) Gorim. What more could you ask for?
