Oghren=best sexually related comment dispenser in the game. Honestly though, I don't care what you say, he was a lot funnier in Awakening than he was in Origins.

The DN origin story is my second favorite as well, you got betrayal, a fight to the death in the deep roads until your ass is saved by Duncan, and most importantly, you have your wingman/minion (depending on whether you like him or not) Gorim. What more could you ask for?

A war bronto that fires flaming nugs from a ballista on its head.

With onboard Nav control, and cup holders and Ale Dispensers.

And offered in many colours, with Scythes as a built in feature.

With Flame Tatoos on the SIDE!

^ He really does say that when the female PC wants to kiss Alistair and Alistair asks about doing it in front of an audience. That is Alistair's standard response to him.

I am not good with recognizing facial expressions, but he looks a bit jealous in the picture. Which he probably has gotten used to over the years.

If the dirt is freshly removed from the ground, it may still have worms and ants. All Wardens can use that extra kick of protein.

No I crashed my game very badly and had to reattempt an install to get mods running again.

All the mods I used are back (some updated!) however I cant find which sodding Storage Chest mod I used since it keeps telling me to reactivate "tal_storage chest". Paragons watch over me since I may just throw my laptop out the window.

Also missed the Gaider interview.

CURSES!

Fixing mods reminds me of running through the Deep Roads again.

So much grind and running back and forth.

Mods are funny at times: for some mods I installed (mainly armor sets and cosmetics and other stuff like lockbash) sometimes the armor will not appear in the inventory when I start a new game.

So I have to delete that character, disable the mod and enable it again and start a new game for it to work. I would love to know how to fix that.

Then there is the toolset...

Too bad that your canon is a HMN because I thought Loghain really shined in RtO if you never acquired the dog in the original Ostagar

Oh? What happens?

Well I am recreating Dain and he lacks any sense of direction.

Minus the fact that the roof keeps on moving, its so wierd to him.

I would imagine that even the most capable Dwarven general would have trouble with orientation on the surface without a map.

So incoming pic spam of Dain 2.0
Fun playing a typical noble who screwed his whole life up.

I really had fun in this Origin, since this is the first time I actually killed Trian RP wise. Having to live with killing a brother because you fell for Bhelen's act is going to be hard.
Here Dain is at the Proving:

Here he is in the Deep Roads looking for the Thaig:

Here is Dain participating in his governmental process:

Here is an unintentional shot of him realizing what he just did:

Here is Bhelen, being Bhelen:

Here is Dain, proving the old adage: "You cant keep a good Dwarf down"

Finally here is Dain compaing beard care tips with Duncan:

I think I suprised Duncan three of four times there:
A DWARF!
THE PRINCE!
AN EXILE!
YOU KILLED TRIAN! YOU... notgoingtosayit.

Overall this is very fun so far.

Okay, so I finished chapter 16 of my fanfiction, and it's got Sandal in it. And Sandal creates a situation that indirectly almost pushes Morrigan enough to want to freeze Alistair.

Thread necromancy!

Seriously, I iz sad when this thread isn't on the front page (though I do sod-all to keep it there, I know).

On my 2nd Dwarf Noble playthrough now.I tried playing the evil DN and killed Trian on purpose, but I totally broke during this dialogue:

Gorim: I will always be your man, my lord Aeducan.

Evil DN: Are you still here?

Gorim: No, my lord. Ser Gorim is...nowhere. *sadly saunters off*

That's when my tear ducts revolted. I carried on until I told poor old Lord Harrowmont to "drop dead, old man" then I quit, reloaded, and became Gorim's dudebro. I couldn't. Hats off to everyone who's been an evil DN through and through, I don't know how you guys do it. :P

Gorim is just way to awsome to be mean to.

Part bro, friend/"friend", hitman, assistant, and epic all rolled into one.

I know! I couldn't even get that dialogue in game, I had to hear it in the toolset. It is just...so...Posted Image
