I have FINALLY updated my fanfic, and I still didn't even get close to the great revelation in Chapter 9.

sigh

EDIT

Need some schleets to relieve my frustration. (JK)

I officially have ideas but I wish I knew more about what kinds of things you guys didn't like (ex: hating AU stories and having a story where Bhelen doesn't have Trian killed and there's no Blight) so I could avoid it and not have to hope that you can overlook it...

Corker, do you only have a Brosca? I'm curious what your Aeducan looks like (if you have one) because you did such a good job with the Gorim poem.

I ran a quickie Sereda Aeducan just through her Origin; I should have gone to Denerim to meet up with Gorim to finish my research but didn't have the time.   Her online profile, such as it is; looks like nothing auto-uploaded to my album.  I learned most of the details just by reading along here;  Sarah's Aunn, with her continuously burning torch for Gorim, was a particular inspiration.  :D

I'm currently rushing a Surana through; when that's done, somebody (probably my first HNF, hand stapled to forehead in woe that Alistair went and got himself killed) will do Awakening, and then I gotta put it down for a while.  Too many at-home hours I just don't have.

ETA: I have to say, in the couple hours I played her (yeah, even origins take me a while), she suddenly became some kind of Indiana Jones archaeologist, all interested in lost lore and history.  (She defended the scholar and of course, the Aeducan shield quest is suggestive.)  Maybe one day I'll have the time to take her through the whole game and she and Dagna can squee over the Scrolls of Banastor.

ETA 2: Upload worked!  Sereda Aeducan, Tomb Raider:

I will never understand why that's such an unusual thing to do. The game just says you've been together for quite some time and I've decided on two years. I know that if I had just gotten out of a two-year relationship that I'd been happy with, I wouldn't be jumping into Alistair's anyone's arms. It just seems too soon. I suppose other people do move on quicker, though.

I am glad that I inspired you, though. Posted Image

Missed the party. Favorite dwarves? Bhelen and then Kardol. Paragon Aeducan too, just for sounding awesome.

Some drive-by dwarvishness

Favorite dwarven NPC hands down.  Ok, Sigrun kind of overtook him, but only by virtue of being around longer.

Oghren works the black Runic Armor rather well

I think the Paragon Set looks best on Oghren. Though what armor do you have on your PC?

Favourite Dwarf NPC: Kardol, that little bugger just dosent die! Also he had just an amazing voice, plus the fact that he could go toe to toe with the archdemon was impressive.

Favourtie Dwarf Companion: Sigrun. -"Whats an Antivian milk sandwich? OH! I think I will just put this back." -That made me laugh for a good long time.

That does make you wonder how naive Sigrun is since it's pretty obvious from the name at least what KIND of thing it is even if you wouldn't necessarily get the particulars.

Also, why was there a book that had something like that in it out in the open in the main part of the Keep, anyway?

Well, surfacers are weird and as a Legionnaire, I rather doubt Sigrun ever expected to see the surface. Odds of any Antivians going to Orzammar (not in the company of a Warden) is also probably not too high.

As for why the book was in the Great Hall in the first place? ... I got nothing.

Compromising evidence, planted there to incriminate, or reveal some secrets, about Seneschal Varel.

Anders might know. :innocent:

Most likely brought by Orlesian Wardens. It sounds like such an Orlesian thing to do.

She isn't naive really. If you're talking to someone about books and pick out such a book that is a pretty natural reaction.

And why wouldn't there be a book like that in the keep?

There is no need for other people to stoop to my level.

And Sweeney isn't too sexy for his shirt, he is too awesome.

I had a friend stationed in Kuwait.  Sent him a lingerie catalogue in a Christmas package.  It was quite the popular item with the unit.  Also, the other men serving with him liked it too.
