Oh, definitely. My DNF is a bit...obsessed with getting back to Orzammar (and if she did hook up with a human/elf she'd dump them immediately upon finding out she could return home so perhaps it's for the best she doesn't have to break anyone's heart). My DNM hooked up with Morrigan AND Leliana (and anyone else that he could) but broke it off with Leliana to go back home. She was pretty forgiving since he did have a son to raise and she had plans of her own that didn't involve trying to fit in in Orzammar. Morrigan, of course, doesn't need to be broken up with as she leaves you anyway.Does anyone else have a hard time justifying their DN romancing a human/elf? I usually play my DN's as being in love with Orzammar and wanting to return, and obviously being with a human makes that very difficult. Though I'm not sure a surface dwarf would be any better thana human.

Nope, my psychopath dwarf was too arrogant to heed attention to Orzammar's conservative nature towards relationships with other species. I tend to view DN as BMOC type that sometimes ignore certain policies of Orzammar due to being the second child of the King Endrin. Besides when you are exiled, you have no idea that eventually you can become a Paragon for your people. Once you are stricken from the birth records from the Shaperate, they consider you dead.
My DN did romance someone and he plans to return with her to get the Anvil back to mass producing golems again (Branka will be tossed into the lava). If anyone has any problems with his relationship with a human, they get tossed into the lava:devil:

I initially thought it would be odd to pair up a dwarf with a human, but it eventually became about the person, not the race. Alistair was written very well so it was easy to just be with him and any doubt I had was done in when my DN asked him if it bothered him that she was a dwarf and he replied not at all, he was actually worried he was too tall for her. It just became about two people who found each other in the strangest places. I lost Alistair in that game, but if she hadn't lost him, her intention was to return to Orzammar to try to clear out the Deep Roads and work on reclaiming the lost thiags. Grey Wardens are already allowed in there so there wouldn't have been a lot of red tape in bringing Alistair with me. Sure, there'd be social stigma for mating outside of the race, but she was already dealing with people who looked down on her for the Trian situation, nothing new. Business as usual, y'know? She wouldn't have stayed in Orzammar full time because the duties of a warden commander dovetails nicely with the interests of Orzammar and Ferelden so getting surface information and traveling is also good.Thrubeingcool13 wrote...

To be honest, I don't ever see myself playing a DN that romanced Zevran because on my first game, he was in my party when I returned to Orzammar for the first time. I was disappointed that no one in my party had anything to say about Bhelen backstabbing me and naturally I couldn't wait to find the only man in Orzammar that believed in my innocence. Harrowmont was the one who sent Gorim with the message where to find Duncan so I'd have a chance to get out plus he was an old family friend. I'm trying to get access to Harrowmong, of course I'll do the Provings in his name, blah blah blah, and then Zevran opens his big mouth and sneers at working for a weak man. He wasn't wrong in his assessment, but that came across as incredibly disrespectful at the time because he was my guest in my own home and just embarrassed me in front of Dulin. I was mad enough to kick him out of my party and leave him sitting in camp for the duration of a Paragon of Her Kind. I've brought him back on other characters and have roleplayed my PCs listening to him, but as for a DN, eh, I don't think so.

Avatar wouldn't be wearing Armor of the Sentinel if I hadn't.
The Epilogue anyway has the Warden vanishing at some point left unclear as to what happened. If Bioware is not going to give me a conclusion on my Warden's fate, I will determine their fate based on their character.
My dwarf will be cranking out the golems with supplies (bandits, thieves, cutthroats, whatever is considered a nuisance) from the surface. It is a horrible story, which happens when I make a horrible character with little to no morals.

You know the DN, and the Dalish Origins make me really wish you could romance some of the NPC's bugs the hell out of me that we end up being restricted. Yes there's Tali, and Mardy but I know plenty of people who would love to romance Teagan, and I'd have payed good money to romance Adal, and Layana admittedly on my Elf Mage but still I'd have liked to have been able to.

Yeah that's probably it. But kinda getting derailed. You know the one thing I never got is why in the heck my Dwarf Noble would be interested in marrying Navra she just seems completely opposite of what he would go for yet the way she talks you'd have thought they were engaged already.
House Helmi seems to be one of the more powerful houses in Orzammar, so most likey it's just a political arrangement. And I think she was engaged to a DNM.

I get that their important. I just don't get how the relationship would have gotten that far along. Now if it was Jayya? Jayla? Then it would have made more sense but you come back to Orzammar, and find out you were basically all but engaged to this girl who just kinda pops up outta no where.
Trian's marriage was arranged with Jaylia, I believe. I know what you mean about Nerav though. She shows up, informs you that you were engaged, and then goes back to the Diamond Quarter. I liked the dialogue option that let you acknowledge her though. Her existance was probably just one of those origin specific touches that each main quest got.
