I have totally beaten the game wearing nothing but the wedding clothes the CE starts out in.

Oh, come on. What's the point in having potions and mages if you're not going to use them? Posted Image

Yeah my DN in particular is way to practical to not upgrade his gear when he can. I mean yeah sure someone might have died in it but that Superior Dwarven Chain was made by one of the best Armorer's in Orzammar, and I'm damn sure not going to meet the Warden Commander of Ferelden, and ask to join the Order in my Prison clothes. Plus it's really nice armor despite having had a dead man in it. Sentimentality will get you killed.

I find it more interesting to not use potions or mages in certain situations. However, in certain parts like soloing Flemeth and High Dragon on NM, you have to use potions.

Plus I feel more of a badass. Typical male behavior.

Yeah, we were more talking about the armor you get BEFORE your prison clothes. And such sentimentality will only get you killed if you don't think you're good enough to do what you have to do in only decent armor. Posted Image

Oh I know it. I was just pointing out how different people have different philosophy's when it comes to gear. He also uses the money he gets from Gotek to buy a proper shield from the armorer who Gorim berates because honestly what good is that little wood thing going to do. His Second should have known better. It's better to be safe then sorry, and you need to project the proper image.

Gotek? Is that a merchant in the game I am not aware of?

Oh I do hate all the commoner clothing in this game, I wish I could toss them all into a bonfire.

Ah, that dwarf who will pay you 3.25 sovereigns if you tell Vollney to pound sand. Never tried just asking for a copy of his work and be a generous, selfless noble which are extinct in Orzammar.

On top of that there's a copy of the same book in Bhelen's room.

Nice, always best to go for the gold in Orzammar... well I still prefer beating Lord Dace's son in the Proving when he tries to pass his house's debt onto House Aeducan. Anyway time for bed.

My HNF's plan to do a little wealth redistribution in Orzammar meets with an unexpected setback.

I'm not shocked. Probably spent the treasury bribing the Assembly.

Damn straight. DAMN. STRAIGHT.
In my case, though, I convinced myself Gorim brought it for me...then added the original via console.
DON'T JUDGE ME OKAY.

Hats off, woman. HATS. FREAKING. OFF. And on the ground. They should create an RPer of the Month Award.

That made me laugh!

OK so seriously, I am a self-admitted loot wh*re, and I'm thinking of buying ME2 just because they have DLC that's basically a bunch of loot. I know, I know, I'm the sort of consumer that makes EA rich, but is it worth it? Like, I know it's customizable, but is the DLC/loot system good?

For mine? Dreads, and the beard with the three braids at the front. I also tend to go for dark hair.

I would so do the same thing if I had the PC version.

A thousand times yes to Gorim's beard. I use it so often for my characters. It has a hold over me.

That's why Trian was always so grumpy. A nug crawled up his beard and died.

True enough. And it's most likely a group (gaggle? flock?) of nugs up there anyhow.
