There is a lot of necromancy as of late, dark magic in the air.



The companion romance in Baldur's Gate was annoying to say the least. If it does happen in Dragon Age 2, I hope they have improved the concept.

I can really only imagine Beth hooking up with Varric.

But thats probably because Varric is the only non-related male revealed so far.

Unless of course the Hawke twins are like the Lannister twins....

Two things:

You start by suggesting that homosexuality and incest should be considered equally taboo. Bad start, but there are whole threads devoted to this antiquated position, so I'll skip over.

There's certainly a place for realism, for the purposes of maintaining verisimilitude, but two important points to note: This only works is people actually know about it; If people believe a lie, the truth would be actively detrimental to this immersive effect. Obscure facts aren't useful. Secondly, the world in which Dragon Age lies already contains large swathes of non realism, much of which we all happily gloss over because we're all used to doing so, consumers as we are of both computer gaming and fantasy fiction.

Edit: this is really off topic, and threads that discuss this really deserve to be locked, so apologies. I just can't quell the pedant in me.
