I got the cinematic, got the dying soldier he told me about the key. I went to Ostagar, got the key, fought some Darkspawn, and cleared it out of Dark Spawn I guess I must have picked up one of the items because it says so in my jounal.
I then proceded to wander around for a little bit, in thsi very small area and found there was nothing else there, no Darkspawn, no chest the key was used on, no side passages, no way through barricades, no tunnels, and the brosge was broken so that was un-usable, So Ostagar was nothing more than about 10-15 darkspawn, the burried key and a very small area
The square below was the only accessable area I was able to go into in Return to Ostagar. Which makes perfect sense considering it's detroyed and the areas you used to be able to get into have now been blocked off by wreckage which explains why every end was blocked off, and there was no where else to go once you got the burried key, except to the world map

Seeing how there was nothing left to do, no where to go, and nothing else there, I left. (Why stay in an area with nothing to do and nothing there and no where to really go right.) So after I left and played for a while more doing stuff in Ozzamar I was checking my journal for something and I noticed under Preimum content that Ostagar was still there and it was saying how I still need 3 more pieces?
So I saw that Ostagar was and still is greyed out on my map, but I still have the codex credits as well as the journal entry for the quest telling me I need to get them.
Ok now this says to me that since I was already there and Ostagar is now greyed out on the map that you are done with Ostagar and the kings items are elsewhere in Fereldon. Because if they were in fact in Ostagar then I would be able to get back into Ostagar.
So using common sense I know that the key I got opens that kings chest and that's where the remainder of the items are but that leads me to ask this:
Where is that chest?
Where are the rest of the items in Return to Ostagar

From where you get the key, head to where Duncan was standing at the start of the game to the left of the ramp upwards is the old place of Cailans tent, the chest should be there.
EDIT: On your little map its near the top "d", once opened head to the side alley near the tent to get to the bridge to start a cinematic half way across.

The map information you gave is pointless for 2 reasons:
1. There were only 3 things that were possible, when I went back to Ostagar:

Apparently in his toolset video thread he PM'd one of the people who replied and gave him abuse, I shant use the person's name it is up to him to say if he wants, but he also give him a bashing in the last post which he edited and removed.
He is either 1 of these 3 choices.

The reason Ostagar may be greyed out is because your DLC didn't authenticate properly, and you saved your game while it wasn't activated. This has been known to cause conflicts. Ostagar should remain open indefinitely, even after leaving it, and after completing the Return to Ostagar DLC. You can try to use console commands to rectify the issue by staring the Return to Ostagar quest again, though this might cause further problems. The only surefire way to fix it would be to reload an earlier save. Annoying, I know, but that's Dragon Age and DLC for you. My suggestion is to not buy any in the future if BioWare can't fix its compatibility and DRM problems.
For the record, it is totally possible to get across the bridge. It's blocked on one side only, if I recall correctly. It's a little bit hard to see, though, due to some of the barricades etc. You can try zooming the camera out and right-clicking on the ground near the bridge, and your party should navigate there themselves.

You are an idiot, 98% of every single thread you start always has you complaining by post 3 or round about. You deliberately set up threads so when people try to help you always ALWAYS do the "Did you not read" excuse to start an argument.
It is evident, and there for all to see.
You cant even use a toolset, im sure Bioware are working on a special press 1 button version for you to make it sooooo much easier. I had a look at it, and it was self explanatory mostly, you failed at using it. Thusly you have no patience to actually learn.

You had no patience in WoW where you are known to be the big head and have been beaten countless times in PvP to which you complain in 2/ that people are idiots just because they beat you and things dont go your way.
I seriously doubt you are married, and your only joy in life is to try and make people as miserable as you are.

Lets see you current arsehattness on the forums, you post a subject, someone comes in and posts a reply in good faith, and you have a epileptic fit saying they didnt read the thread or the title of the thread, QQ and more QQ, and accuse people of attacking you.
Lets look at my 2nd reply, my 2nd reply was a reply to your previous reply which you have edited thinking it would escape undetected, wrong as you clearly state your 5 year old nature by refusing to acknowledge that it was useful information, this is the same thing you have done in all your hopefull-troll induced threads.
Face it how many fans have you got here, and on WoW? I can tell you right now I have found out more about you on WoW, and you have very little if not any at all fans on there, everyone hates you there, you think your amazing at PvP and then you get slapped about and complain about rogue stun locks and so forth, all because you do NOT understand the game, as per usual you jump in with both feet and hope everything runs on 1 button and everything is easily explainable. I.e. it has to slap you in the face.
But even slap you in the face information doesn't reach your brain, like for instance the chest you couldn't find in Ostagar to further the story, a 5 year old paraplegic kid could have found it, hell a blind person could have found it.
And whats more your not married, so lets not talk bull on this side, "Oh I am married and have a daughter" absolute BS. You have no life, you stay with your mother... how do I know your wondering.... remember me talking about WoW, some of your "friends" were nice enough to dish dirt.

Zero, I think you need to just stop replying.
DAB just gave you some information, maybe it won't help you on your current playthrough unless you revert to an old save-game, but it will help you in future with other playthroughs etc.
@DAB: I know this guy isn't exactly easy to work witth but maybe you should stop helping him, maybe everyone should because that just gives him the attention he wants so badly for whatever reason.
Now with all that said, I think all this flaming is a waste of everybody's time.
