is it possible to make VFXs for spells to actually emit light? I'm not sure if they already do (grease fire, for example, I believe it does but I'm not sure about inferno)

You can add light source(s) to a vfx, yes. Check out the weapon enhacement spells for example of it -- the fire and lightning enhancements have that, to name few.

which 2da should I check?

It's not 2da, but part of the .vfx setup itself. Check out the vfxproj files from BioWare project, http://social.biowar...ct_file_id=2374
the fire weapons vfx is fxa_fire_swrd_c.vfxproj and the lighting weapons are in fxa_Lit_swrd_c.vfxproj

Simply open them with the Toolset using the Open File command -- they are projects for the VFX editor which is part of it.

I'll check that in the toolset anyway.
do you believe it could be possible to make a Dragon Age CEP? if Bioware fixes the toolset, of course.

I don't know, you'd have to probably ask in the Projects section of the toolset forum?

Yes, but hopefully no one will, it's unnecessary.Dark_Ansem wrote...

Different formats and quality, they aren't compatible as far as I know.Helekanalaith wrote...

What's the point of a compilation of different packages if there is no online community? People simply download what they want or need. Such compilations aren't necessary in the kind of builders environment that Dragon Age offers.Helekanalaith wrote...

That's all the explaining I'll do concerning that particular topic, if you don't mind.

I know they are not compatible. but they could be converted.
and a CEP-like thing could be used since there are already mods that overwrite each other.
