I would like Hawkes voice to be deep and rugged.  Make him seem like a fearless warrior who makes enemys crap their pants just by talking.  Heres a example of what i would like his voice to be like www.youtube.com/watch

Whereas I would rather Hawke be calm and erudite.

That Hawke is voiced at all thus guarantees that one of us wil be disappointed.

I think it's too late for suggestions anyway - the VAs have been chosen.

I'd rather have a voice capable of subtlety, emotion (besides rage), and nuance, myself.

The voice has been... voiced. Comic Con booth has a demo with Hawke's voice, so.

Half the population will enjoy his voice, the other part won't. Guess I'll end up creating a character that fits the voice rather than doing one of my own. Oh well.

I want him to be the mature swashbuckler voice from Neverwinter Nights. Something that was missing from the 1st dragon age

I think we'll see a lot of the voice talent that will also be used in ME3, this happened with DA:O and ME2, makes sense to utilize the quality you already have and limit expenses

If Hawke wasn't voiced it would also guarantee some disappointment.

You can't please everyone.

I'd like a deep, calm voice. One that would more suit an aged scholar/retired badass than a dumb upstart bruiser (no offense, but that was the impression I got from the OP's link).

Like that "power-hungry" voice from NWN2. I think that would be a good voice to use (too late now though).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. NO O O O O. Niet. Nein. No (in Spanish).

What about the poor people who don't want their Hawke to be a clueless macho? Deep voice is bad. I hope with all my heart BW has chosen someone with a voice who is neither squeaky nor gravelly.

No offense, but the link the op posted is the biggest of the few fears I have concerning Dragon Age II... I would really like to see a flexible voice, capable of both sensitivity and hollow evil-ness.

Although I trust Bioware has choosen a voice that is able to reflect all the angles the player is able to play Hawke as.

I like Tony Todd, he has a great deep voice but is also capable of emotion and conveying intelligence.

I dunno. I usually have faith in Bioware, but this voice thing has so much potential to be screwed up. I suppose I'll have to wait and hope to the Flying Spaghetti Monster that they made a sensible choice.

i do not think hawke should be really emtional. one of my biggest concerns with the shepards was that they already had theyre own predefined characters and so i didn't get very much chances to bring in my own imagination.

Of course there's a chanse it will screw up. I'm not really expecting a purrfect voice-choise, but I bet they wouldn't take a voice in the fashion of the dreaded link voice... It would be disasterous. But since that is waay to one-roady I doubt we'll see a voice like that.

As long as it isn't as monotone as Sheperds, I'll get by
