And if not then why?

Since the Hurlocks seen in Game Informer are going to be the mindless normal ones, what's going to happen to the disciples and the children, and, more importantly, the Architect?

Were they just some crazed hallucination our Warden had on a hard night in the bar?

Or was  the Architect slain by some random adventurer, and the remaining darkspawn just stopped... awakening?

I'm not asking for any important plot details to be revealed or anything, I just want to know whther or not anything we did in Awakening actually had any impact on Ferelden.

I was under the impression that The Architect's faction was just a small one, and it might not even have spread to Kirkwall.

Given that the game covers the destruction of Lothering, doesn't that put a part of the game prior to Awakening? So couldn't there be an opportunity to have both?

And if the game does consider what was done by the player in Awakening, I wonder how it'll handle someone who didn't play it...?

probalbly something like what happens to ME2 players who don't transfer their saves, the game predeterminates event outcomes and ignores side missions

Mike Laidlaw confirmed that choices from Awakening will be transferable to DA2.  So I assume that even if you haven't played it, there are allusions to it ingame.
