Dragon Age has a simple tab to press that shows if your DLC is installed and active. Mass Effect 2 has no such option. How do you know if ME2 DLC is installed? I think this question is asked by many players and deserves its own topic. Also, with the disc version, the DLC content from the Cerebus network shows under "Profile", "Your registered game promotions", a list of DLC. Next to each item is a column that indicates "download". After downloading, how do you verify that this content has been successfuly downloaded and installed? It's frustrating that there's no inventory screen showing weapons and armour, DLC or otherwise. If I'm missing something here, any advice would be welcome. I've just begun playing ME2 so it's possible that I haven't pressed the correct key to determine this information.
How do you know if your ME2 DLC is installed?

Usually you get an e-mail in-game. If you downloaded weapons and armor check the armory and the captain's cabin. If you downloaded a mission, check the galaxy map.

If you want to verify which of the DLC's you have installed outside of ME2 can go to ME2's DLC folder in it's game directory, mine is:
C:\\Program Files\\Mass Effect 2\\Biogame\\DLC
If you went with the "Express Install" or "Recommended Install" that should be it with you as well.
The folders for each DLC aren't called exactly the same as what you would find on your game promotions page, but it's easy enough to find out.
If you want to find out in-game, do what Fredvdp said, also, as for the missions, you can also check the Journal under "Secondary Assignments".

To check what ME2 DLC's you got? Then you got to head over to:xbeton0L wrote...

I believe that is the path file for the installed DLC's, again, should be easy to find out what is what.
Or you could also go ingame and check if the DLC's appear, just go to your user entitlements page and see what the various DLC's are supposed to do and check it to the ones that appear ingame.

My LOSB download just completed, I run the .exe and get a cmd window briefly and then nothing...
All other DLC were fine (I have the Steam version of ME2). Am I unique?

Same problem with LOSB. I suspect a corrupted download. Anybody have an MD5 for a confirmed working download?

I got the same thing, out of ideas what is wrong and why does this happen. :/
Download went smooth, size is right (1.51 GB).

For those of you having trouble with Lair of the Shadow Broker, there are a ton of threads on the issue, which is that Bioware uploaded 1.51 gigabytes of empty file. There is literally 1.51 gigabytes of zeros.
It's a corrupted installer, not any issue on your system. If you doubt me, try zipping or rar'ing the file. You'll see that it compresses 99.8% to 1.51 megabytes.

For those of you without a hex editor, MD5 for the file full of zeroes:
3b0dd07558f79292fe4ef0b09b71259f

What a massive pain in the ass.
Mass effect 2 download complete on steam (Yay).
Register game.. good to go.
Register Cerberus Network promo code... good to go.
Purchase some bioware points ("an error occured processing your request please try again later")
Now, I know this error isn't on my end.. because I JUST USED THIS CREDIT CARD ON STEAM.
Four attempts later, no bioware points. Use credit card to buy Indie game pack to be certain.
Now have "season of mystery cherry blossoms" in my steam list. CC works. Bioware fails.
Oh well, I'll just download the free dlc's while I wait for the magic error fairy to come back from Christmas break so I can play my game(not playing without dlc's).
So I go to the cerburus network site to download and install some DLC. Hoorah.
Download link on DLC's downloads a picture of the DLC.
Bioware fail.
Well, I guess I have to try somewhere else.
The google does not know.
The game interface will tell me nothing. I have no idea if it's even available, if it's already installed,
If I have to run the damn game to download it, I have no idea.
I have no idea what's goin on. You guys wanna get high?
Anyway.
Could someone please tell me who I have to order Wrex to kill to get some information about WTF is going on with downloadable content in this game?
I guess I'll tie up my PC for 12 hours with the main game screen just sitting there and my thumb planted firmly in my arse hoping on faith that something is happening.
Bioware fail.
In this process I have seen more fail from Bioware than I would have ever thought possible.
Also Merry Christmas.
*EDIT* nevermind, I found it.
