I liked Flemeth a LOT more than her daughter. I really wish she was a recruitable character.

I found that Morrigan came across like a spoilt brat myself, while Flemeth actually seemed like someone deserving of respect. She was alright at first, but over time Morrigan has started to come across as one of those rich kids who thinks that all poor people are lazy and stupid while hanging onto her daddy's credit card.

She just doesnt know how society works, she looks on everything as a wild animal would, survival of the fittest. She just doesnt really relate to poeple well.

I have to say i find Flemeth more annoying than Morrigan. I dont really like the whole "mad old woman" thing. I like Morrigan and think of her not so much as a spoilt brat as a sheltered person who grew up with animals for friends and not people.

Yeah, I respected her 'survival of the fittest' viewpoint at first, but then after her rant at the Circle Tower I just lost all respect for her and considered her a hypocrite, as she was all for freeing Jowan and Sten despite the fact that they had gotten themselves caught no matter how powerful they were and therefore had failed at surviving yet was against helping the mages despite the fact that Wynne had proven more adept at survival by having resisted being caught or killed by the blood mages or abominations. I realised then that it wasn't really a case of survival of the fittest but her own prejudiced views, and just wished that there was an option to call her out on it, would have been amusing to see how it turned out.
Morrigan's all ready to judge how others lead their lives, yet if it wasn't for Flemeth she would have been just another Circle Mage, or dead.
EDIT: Oh, just thought I'd mention, though I find her annoying I do actually like the character of Morrigan, as she actually elicits a response even if it's one of dislike, which proves that she's a good and interesting character!

I wonder how you would turn up being raised by a crazy witch who lives IN A SWAMP!
Great judge of character guys, Congratz

Are you flaming me for how I perceive a character? If so, I'm really sorry for daring to have a different opinion from you. I found her to be overly judgemental and stuck up, especially since if it wasn't for Flemeth she would have just turned out the same as all the other Circle Mages she casts her aspersions on.

You need to remember for Morrigan she doesn't have ALOT of experience interacting with other people. Heck even when get tries to haggle with a merchant it turns out bad in the end. So it's not as much her wanting to be that way and more to do with how she was raised in isolation then anything else.
Well, you could say the same for many spoiled kids these days since they often don't have any real world experience hence why they can be so judgemental. The fact that she seems to polarise people on how likable/unlikable she is just goes to show how well they developed her character.

Or at least that's what she knows. Eitherway, she saved your characters life, AND you've got biger fish to fry. Just didn't feel right to go kill her.

How did you kill Flemith? She just wiped my group out at level 10.
i had sten, me (blood mage with most of the entropy tree filled out), wynne, and that bard lady (can't remember her name). had sten go up there and beat on her while i kept up the hex of vulnerability and mainly just kept hittin her from afar with my staff. had wynne keep up heals back there with me and had the bard lady sitting back and shooting arrrows at her (only reason i brought her was cause i didn't want anyone besides sten taking any dmg because of her aoe melee attacks). had the full dragon armor on sten and used a lot of healing potions. took awhile but i finally got her down. i think i was lvl 11 at the time.

Or giving Morrigan the grimore or keeping it myself.
Maybe will affect things later in a sequel.
