Clarification on new refined combat

"Different attacks are mapped to the X, Y, and B buttons of your
controller (we were playing on an Xbox 360). Hawk, the hero of the
game, had a typical sword swipe mapped to X, a thrust mapped to Y, and a
twirl that would take down all the enemies around him mapped to B. By
holding the right trigger you can access a second set of attacks, so it
seems you'll have six moves available to you at a time. Each move has a
recharge time, so you can't just keep mashing the X button to chop
through enemies."
I had a few questions about that. Are these moves just shortcuts to the classical skills/talents from Dragon Age 1, are they new separate moves (like you often see in first person RPG's like Oblivion, Two Worlds: a slow but hard strike, a fast but less hard strike...) or do they replace the classical skills? Is the amount of moves limited to six as they assume? Do these moves include things like defensive stances or sustained skills/talents?

The new preview (http://xbox360.ign.c.../1108057p1.html) has some information on the refined combat. I'll paste the relevant part here:

I would guess yes to those things. From everything I have read I "think" combat is about the same in DA2. They have said that the PC gamer will have almost the exact same controls as DA:O. However they wanted to make the consol games better for a controller. I would think it is more just a better way to map talents and not make it into a waterd down hack and slash. At least I hope to god that is what they do.

Of course did they simplify the talents to like ME2?
If they did,to me that is a problem.
THe more choices they reduce the less replay I get.

So far the combat doesn't sound any different from Dragon Age: Origins on the consoles.
Happy to hear that, but to go a little off topic, anyone know how to re-map the health poultice heal ison back to the default on x box?
