Once a character (PC or monster) is turned, is there a duration for the effect or is it permanent?

It is not permanent, and IIRC the duration is 5+(# of levels in Turning classes) rounds. Also if IIRC Cleric levels can stack with either Paladin or Blackguard levels for turning purposes (but not both of them, just whichever of the two is higher) while Paladin & Blackguard levels do not stack with each other.

Unfortunately, I am unable to locate the line which describes the duration in that script (me player, not builder) so I am forced to use rogueknight's duration as my baseline (5+ turner level) rounds. If it can be confirmed, that would be useful. I had already heard/read about the turning class stacking so that wasn't an issue. Basically, I couldn't tell if the level factor was a round, a turn, an hour or some special time period.SHOVA wrote...

Got the toolset open right now. According to the script, the duration is measured in rounds of (class levels + 5).
