And would you open it, or would you put it in some special de-pressurized room?
How much would you pay for brand new copies of each game?

Well since you can get the compilation for £11.49 (I recently paid a little more than that) I suppose that is what I would pay.
And yes, I did open it as my last game was a little scratched.
Shame that I opened the super-duper set including T-shirt. Could have been worth something.

Occasionally I cross paths with another fresh and new copy of Baldur's gate in electronics shops. Come to think of it, I only have 1 Baldur's Gate 2, while 3 Baldur's Gates. I had another BG, prior to ToB, but a stupid, stupid friend destroyed my disc 2. I like... killed him, yeah. Was 100% worth it

I paid around 50 dollars for each of my BG 1 & BG II disc sets since I bought them when they had recently came out. If my BG discs get destroyed would do so again, if necessary. But if you are asking like to buy as a collector's item, no only if I will use it.

I'm not really into collecting actual games, and since I still have my original copies, I'm fine without any more.
That said, if there were ever a digital distribution of the game (GOG.com anybody?), I would buy it in a heartbeat so that I could install them fuss-free onto my netbook.
