Hi,

I had the issue that Mass Effect 2 would crash at the Jarrahe research station laser beam scene. I used to play the game at 16:9 1920x1080. So I did the quick fix I found online -> changed to 800x600 and it worked. After the scene I changed back to my former resolution and since then I'm having graphic issues. Every motion causes a lag, dragging of the camera kinda (in case that makes any sense) and I have issue targeting any items you can interact with. I see the orange box around the item, but the blue corners to activate it don't show. I have to tilt and test several angles in order for them to show up.

Restarting the mission didn't do anything, neither did rebooting.

Was hoping the problem would only be related to the research station, but I have the same problem at other places. Turning down the resolution a bit didn't help much either, only 800x600 works fluently.

Running Windows 7, Intel Duo 2.7, 4GB Ram and a Gforce 210.

Anybody got an idea what I can do? Not enjoying the game at 800x600 Image IPB

You really have little choice. The G.210 is way, WAY below minimum, and needs to be replaced with something more useful if you want to play games.

What doesn't seem to add up is you thought it was working OK at first, and it shouldn't have done much for you unless the resolution and image quality settings had both been pretty well minimum.  Officially, the designers select their official requirements, typically, based on Medium resolutions.
