So I'm looking for input on what you liked or disliked, and what you want added after playing Mass Effect 2.

My thoughts were as follows:

What was HATED, or at least was
annoying:

=======Dialogue: Major Problem=========================================

Basically - there needs to be more
options in conversation. not just an A,B, or C, option - and if you are really
good (or bad) D, and an E. it gets really annoying when your options are either
kill the guy or let him go.

I like the idea of having special options open up for certain situations, but I get annoyed when
deciding that "the needs of the many out-weigh the needs of the few"
gives me evil points. or the fact that I can't tell a crew member "I do
care" because I didn't help (or not help) enough people. Having 99.9%
Paragon and not being able to pick the Paragon choices because of that 0.01%
was rather annoying.

Dragon Age Origins had great conversation
options - lead to a better story and allowed for somewhat better decisions in
dialogue and results in the Epilogue. But then again, Dragon age did seem alot like
a slap together remake of "Baulder's Gate" or "Icewind
Dale"

=======Willingness to help=====================================

I loved doing the side missions, but come on! Understand not everyone is willing to be
"good" - movies and games have gotten it in our heads that helping those who are down on "their luck" will ALWAYS get you rewarded in the end -
REALLY GUYS? come on. make the game a bit tougher on that end. being nice can get you killed. - you can't trust everyone: even if they don't look shady - sometimes, the good guys are the ugly looking ones. It's not the the guy on the street you gotta worry about. Its the silver tounged devil with a tux and good looks you gotta worry about. Sometimes the bad guy wins too. The player needs to understand that helping everyone you see isn't the answer. and sometimes, it will get you killed, or worse.

=======Consequences: Make some tougher choices ===============================

understand the actions of your choices, give a little shock. downloadable
content seemed to have had tougher choices than the actual game.

Remember one of the first trailers for Mass Effect?

[Explosions in the background] "Normandy? Do you
copy? We're under attack! -incoming transmission
from Noveria[/i]- Normandy?! Are you there?! - Repeat! [sounds of gunshots and
screams]
Requesting immediate aid! Please! PLEASE! --------- Request Denied.- Setting new course for Callistan....[/i]"

"Many Decisions lie
ahead, none of them easy...."

=======What Happened to the Awesomeness of exploring planets? ================

landscapes - explore. enough of that planet scanning stuff - sure it's great if
you are just looking for one thing, and great to have for some situations, but
come on?! that was part of Mass Effect! I loved going around in that 6 wheeled tank! although it would be nice to find something more than just a rock to excavate
on explore-able planets...

=======Weapons=======================================================

Kinda want to go back to
original weapon customization. Sure it was easier with the new system, but the
whole time playing I felt like I was using second rate equipment, (excluding
the heavy weapons) but it wasn't the "SPECTRE" grade equipment from
the last. What happened to the interchangeable barrels with the heat sink? My idea
- stick with the new weapon selection mode, but allow for 1 - 3 slots for
weapon upgrades depending on "level" of the weapon - and change the
look of the guns when they get upgraded. or something. no colors though. throws
off everything.

===

of course these were
things that weren't quite fixed or were either changed from the first game, but still, there were
improvements.

What Was Great:

=======Ship Upgrades and Development ======================================

I liked the idea of ship upgrades - just not the fact that I had to spend 6
extra hours of gameplay scanning planets just to be able get a single one. The
ship did feel like the old Normandy, just bigger. Liked the
"upsizing" Hated the fact that I couldn't take the "Cerberus
Sticker" off. Liked the fish tank, nice touchup. would have liked an auto
fish feeder though to start with.

=======Firefights=======================================================

Fights seemed a more
evenly balanced. If playing on the harder difficulties, you had to use all your
abilities to win the fight and definitely counted on your allies to help you
out. But one thing I didn't like: the blood on the screen. Took FOREVER for it to go away. by the time it was gone, I was already dead. What happened to the original health system? and using the medi-gel for REVIVES
ONLY?? annoying. Go back to basics on that one.

=======Suit Upgrade====================================================

Loved the suit upgrade!
solved all my problems of trying to find a new or better suit. not to mention
the fact that I could choose my own colors. of course, I stuck with the N7
colors cause it's just bad-a##.

=====================================================================

What Should be added:

=======Helmet: just a slight tweak ==========================================

Different helmets were
awesome. But the fact that a person could recognize you with a helmet covering
your entire face was a bit odd... give the option to remain the "anonymous
SPECTRE" or take off the helmet and reveal yourself.

=======I'm not sure -You decide ===========================================

As long as the before mentioned
stuff can be fixed and/or added, I, for one, would be happy.

This is where I'm looking for input on fixes, add-ons, and game development. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Just remember - Adding to the game is great: but will your idea cause bugs or glitches that give the
player an unfair advantage? or will it change the game completely? Keep it clean and simple! again, any thoughts on anything I put up there would be welcome.
Please: no rudeness or profanity
