Hi,

I recently broke my old mouse, a Razer Krait (1600 dpi), and now I'm using my backup mouse, a Logitech M-BT83 (800 dpi). With the Logitech mouse, camera movement in ME2 is extremely slow and I can't find a way to somehow increase the sensitivity / speed. Changing mouse settings in Windows does not have any effect, neither does the "camera sensitivity" setting in ME2. Changing some of the settings in the coalesced.ini (as proposed in some threads I found regarding mouse sensivity) didn't get me anywhere either, as the game is no longer starting as soon as I make the slightest change to that file.

Any ideas?

As usual, after finally posting the issue in a forum by yourself, you find the solution on your own a few minutes later -> I just found the Coalesced.ini - Editor and with it, I was able to set the mouse sensitivity to 3.0 (up from 1.0) with the game still starting afterwards.

EDIT: Or not. Camera movement speed is fine, but the mouse is still very slow navigating the conversation wheel or while scanning planets. That's not a real issue though, but I still wonder why mouse sensitivity only effects camera sensitivity and why the camera sensitivity setting has no effect at all.

i have mouse lag issues with the bypass hack interface. many of the mouse movements are sluggish and i risk failing the attempts every time. more challenging however. but definitely something that needs to be looked into.

Beyond the acceleration issues in the pinned thread on top, there is also the matter of frame rate speed to overcome for those game players who want to ignore the video card minimum requirements.  Interaction with the environment in every regard is hampered by slow video graphics.  This reliance on the video card feedback functions can extend to the pointer positioning and poor response to mouse button clicks.

P. S.  I will normally skip past questions / comments in which at the very least, the basic components of the system aren't offered.  Far too often, in my view, complaints are being written that have no basis. Low end hardware just isn't SUPPOSED to work correctly for gaming use, and we in here shouldn't have to keep repeating that information.
