In ME1, if you had a class without good hacking skills (basically, any class without tech spec), you were reliant on one of your squaddies for that affair.

Now in ME2, it seems that no matter the class, Shepard is a master at rewiring circuit boards and hacking code.  Since when did Soldier Shep gain complex knowledge on computer circuitry?  When did Vangaurd Shep learn how to code?

Also... your squaddies seem to have no effect on the speed countdown.  PCB-Hotwiring Ace Soldier Shep could be crossing all kinds of wires, but quarian engineer prodigy Tali standing right there does nothng to this ability.  Vanguard Shep could be going L33t H4X0R, while Legion, who IS computer programming, stands idly by while they could just easily go brute force with all 1,183 runtimes on the platform.

If the ME2 system of forced entry into electronics and computers is to exist in ME3, classes and squaddies should be taken into account with countdown timers.  Vanguards and Soldiers should get agonizingly short countdowntimers, while squaddies highly proficient in such things should give bonuses (the more proficient the better).

Something kinda like this...

(key:   / E:  / H: )

Tali / E: Very High / H: High
Legion / E: High / H: Very High
Garrus / E:Medium / H: High
Kasumi / E: High / H: Medium
Miranda / E: Low / H: Medium (she's more of a managerial type than a technical type, but she still seems to know her way with an omnitool)
Mordin / E: Medium / H: Low (countering his Omnidisciplinary Scientist problem)

Everyone else is technically disinclined (unless I obtusely missed a techy ME2 squaddie...  did I?)
