How the heck do you get past the fake wall in Tuka-Akut's Crystal Cave, and the treasure in the Phandalin Cold Iron Mines? I've lost count of how many times I've tried and its starting to get ridiculous.

Someone with a high Search skill - possibly enhanced magically (e.g. Irim Mendar in Samarlach sells a Watchman's Helm that I always buy) - needs to walk around by that wall in search mode. Elf-continuous-search mode doesn't seem to work, but having the whole party in search mode can't hurt.
As for the Cold Iron Mine - huh?! I've never had any trouble finding anything there - maybe I've missed it altogether. More specific? If you're referring to a lock or trap - I also never run without a thief.

Alright, it suddenly occurs to me what you might be referring to in Phandalan.
You need somebody who can sense, detect, or See the Truth when you talk to the overseers.

No I mean the treasure in the mines that is behind the bars and they're locked. I haven't tried it with Belueth in the party yet though.

For the crystal cave with the chest behind the rock wall... theres a lever you have to use right next to it... odd thing is its very hard to notice even though its right out in the open.
I sat there looking around for that 'specific key' for a few minutes until I suddenly noticed the lever near the rock wall when i changed my camera angle. Unless theres something I missed.
Dont think I had any issue with Cold Iron Mine, although I did have a full rogue with me with max ranked open lock.

It starts invisible. It's not drawn until one of the characters Spots it.
