How about a Hurt or Heal Game- Forum Member style. Volunteers Only, of course-so no feelings are hurt. No one can ADD points to themselves-only to others. Whomever wins gets to pick out a quote for Stanley to use for a week when he locks a thread

Of course Woo would have to be willing to use it but that would be fun I think!

I remember talking about that once and most people agreed no because we're afraid that:

a) People won't even no half(or a quarter) of the members on the list.

People will be offended and the worst case scenario would be people bashing each other because of it.

I don't think we have to know everyone that volunteers...I've played a lot of the HoH games & I've only played DA:O- none of the other games-so i just randomly pick characters..lol 

People will volunteer to be a part of the game so they go in knowing they might be the first one taken out. I don't think feelings will be hurt-it's fun, not personal!  Also, there's more of an incentive now to have a Member Style HoH as STalney Woo has said he will seriously consider letting the winner pick a quote for him to use for a week.  That's a pretty cool reward for playing a forum game.

What about uping the ante? I'd be willing to accept the winner's quote as well. One quote to rule them all?

Jaheira was the second character to reach 40 in the first round and the fifth to fall. It seems that at least some those that are dead now were characters people saw as threats and as such, in a weird way, you should be glad to see they were killed because it means people took the effort to target them. In Jaheira’s case that was a lot of effort, but even Anomen Delryn was a battle. The only reason I aided in Anomen’s demise was to help end the deadlock.
 
I have not yet added a single point to the character I “most” want to win which may seem odd, but I don’t want them to seem like a juggernaut that must be killed. That’s not to say that I don’t have any affinity for those to which I have added points, it’s just that I don’t expect them to win. I will not mention whether or not I have taken points from who I want to win, but I will mention this: Sometimes taking a few points from a character will have a whiplash effect where they gain far more points than were deducted from them. The inverse can be true as well.
 
In a game like this where logic and reason may seem not to exist there is still strategy. Sometimes doing the exact opposite thing can have the impact you want. If I screamed “Don’t kill Boo!” How many people who previously didn’t take points from Boo would start to take points from Boo as a reaction? How many people who were already angry that Boo made it to 40 first would redouble their efforts to kill Boo? As the battle to hurt and heal Boo intensified how many would join in if only to see it resolve? If you think the answer is none, you are wrong.
