After a decent search I didn't see this topic come up. Wasn't sure if I should post here or in the General Discussion's forum, so here won out. Figured it a better place regardless.

Right, to the point.

Is it possible to edit the portraits of companion characters in the OC ala Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights? I find the angles used to be very offputting for some of their portraits, especially if playing with modded facial morphs for some of them.

Ideally I would like to take a screenhot, crop it down to size and use that as their portrait, but would be happy at adjusting the angles and expressions used in the 'mini me' portraits somehow.

So, is this possible, or am I stuck looking at those evil, evil defaults?

It is very possible! You can't use screenshots, but you can certainly edit the camera. Take a look on the wiki for 2DA and how to edit/export them; the 2DA you want to edit is called portraits.xls.

Wonderful, thank you. No original art or screenshots makes me a little sad, but anything is better than the defaults right now. Morrigan looks downright scary when using a custom morph. Hehe.
