Dragon Age 2 is a terrible name for a sequel.

:pinched: I guarantee you they just haven't announced the subtitle yet.

I am so sick of seeing entire threads on things that aren't even confirmed or understood yet. ARGH.

Limitations of player choices are already confirmed(compared to DA1).

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

I'm not a fan of "Dragon Age 2" because I'd like all the games and novels to follow similar naming conventions. :P

Which has...what to do with this thread?  Wow. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

We don't know the full name yet. I'm betting it'll be something like Dragon Age 2: Rise to Power.

Don't mind him he feels the need to express his opinion every chance he gets even if it means going off topic.

personaly I dont see this as a sequel as much as an expansion or side shoot of a story, there going backwards by eliminating origin stories and race custumization

The Human Noble had the best, and most connected, overall storyline in DAO anyway. I don't mind the switch to a purely human protagonist.

Since we're coming up with subtitles, how about "Dragon Age: Legacy"?

That's kind of what the game is about isn't it?

I liked the character customization in Origins.. But since we can change some of his features I hear, the first thing I'm doing in chopping off the Master Beard he has going. That only worked for Duncan.

It's almost painful to read the OP; you can tell he put so much time and effort into trying to be witty...it hurts my soul.

This.

Origins was just called Dragon Age for most of its development. Origins was a very late addition, and not al that well received by the forum.

I want to thank you and Sylvius the Mad for actually remembering history so we can actually gauge our reactions and see others' hypocrisy. In any case, it can be for the obvious reason to differentiate itself from a DLC or Expansion and as a fully-fledged sequel, aka brand recognition and trying to control some peoples' gut reaction to news/names.

Better "Dragon Age 2" than some cheesy name like "Dragon Age: The rise of Hawke".
