In my first playthrough I remember being able to convince Llyod to give ownership to the Tavern to Bella, or at lease something along those lines. Maybe it was ownership to my Warden, and then my Warden gave it to Bella. Either way I known that Llyod was still alive and Bella owned the tavern.
I cannot, for the life of me, remember the correct dialogue combinations to get this to happen. I've done about 4 reloads now in an attempt to get it, but it's just not happening.
So, can anyone point me in the right direction here before I go insane?

This means that I probably need to take ownership of the Tavern myself first, I just don't recall how.

If you intimidate him into fighting and he lives, Bella remains in charge for some reason.Lunarionsilver wrote...
Yeah. While I've gotten that outcome it's not the one I'm looking for, though I may settle with it. I remember if you talk to him afterwards he says something bitterly along the lines of, "If you want something you need to talk to Bella now. You put her in charge after all."

Just use an area spell, and never heal him and down he goes.

That's always a wallbanger for me. Lloyd joins the militia to defend the town for one night and so Bella keeps the tavern open for that one night so the militia can still get drinks and that translates into Bella now runs the tavern forever? She should just be the employee keeping it open if the manager can't be there so is Lloyd really that stupid that he thinks leaving Bella to run things in his absense means it's hers? Did she steal the deed while he was off preparing for the attack?DWSmiley wrote...

If Llyod had no family or very close friends, then I doubt anyone is going to get angry that Bella is running it. Medival Laws werent overly clear on inheritance issues.

But if he's not dead and you haven't found anything else for Bella to do then Lloyd now seems to work for her. Because she ran the place while he was busy helping defend everyone (including Bella) from a zombie apocalypse for one night. How does that make any sense at all?Giggles_Manically wrote...

Or badly implimented coding, either works.
Maybe its just a bug who knows, or maybe Llyod got hit over the bean, and now thinks Bella is running the place.

If you don't find Bella something else to do, she runs the tavern and Lloyd works for her. WTF?Patriciachr34 wrote...
If Lloyd survives, then he goes back to the tavern and you can find Bella a new gig. That is always how it has played out for me. Although, he hasn't survived THAT much in my play throughs as he tends to run right at the first group of undead he sees and they eat his face.

He's not a nice person, true, and he does pay her less than she feels she deserves and gropes her. Just the same, that doesn't mean it's okay for her to go steal his business.DWSmiley wrote...
He's a greasy pig who groped her and paid minimum wage. I expect she'll treat him better.

If the Warden gives Bella enough money to leave Redcliffe, she eventually makes her way to Denerim safely where she opens her own brewery and meets Bann Teagan. She marries him months after that.
oops my bad, that was old data, You have to give either Kaitlyn or Bella the max you can to get them out.
