I have installed the patch on my laptop and home PC.  The games explorer links worked fine upon the initial install of Dragon Age.  However after installing the latest patch the explorer link no longer functions.  I actually cannot even right click on it anymore.  The only way I can launch the game is using the launcher from the DVD or going in the program files directory and starting it there.

Anyone else running Windows 7 and seen this?

I guess I should be more specific. This happened both on Home Premium x64 and Ultimate x64

I have the exact same issue on Windows 7 x64. The Games explorer entry cannot be right-clicked or double clicked since the 1.01 patch. This also broke my existing taskbar button.

Yes I have heard of others having the same problem. I have not experienced it myself though because I am running it through steam. Just make a shortcut to wherever you need it?

Having the same issue on Windows 7 - 64 bit. The start menu links do not work and neither does the Games Folder link. The interesting part is it shows no error, just doesn't respond.

However, I can get the game to start by going through the Autorun program directly on the DVD.

Check your event logs. If you see Windows side-by-side errors complaining about your version of Visual C++ runtime (VCR), update it with the latest patch. Just Google Visual C++ 2005 runtime and grab the most recent patch you see - it's from like June or something.
