Dear Bioware

I bought DAO a few days ago, and just cant play it because when any of the cutscenes starts, the game chokes and eventually freezes in the process, only way to work arroud this is to alt+tab or ctr+alt+del and start program manager and then come back to game, but eventually this solutions stops to work and windows gives the message that the program stopped to work.

I had the same problem with Mass Effect, and no patches or updated drivers solved  the problem, the truth is Bioware never solved the situation or wanted to, and now in DAO the problem hits again. If you browse mass Effect forums there were many people with this problem and no solution was found for them, im afraid the same will happen again, i just cant understand why Bioware never solved this.

My only explanation to  the issue here is there are some "not so good" coding in both games, making some CPUs "stressburn" by working at full load continuosly in all cores until they hang ( just like CPU stability tests as SuperPI) or some memory dump related problem.  Many people states that problem is temporarily solved by restarting the game but in in a varaiable amount of time the problem kicks again.

The current situation is simply unacceptable!

Please Bioware , this time solve the problem, i want to play the games i payed for, im not a beta tester.

You will find that opening a ticket at dragonage.com support will be a lot more helpful than posting a complaint here. They even have an online chat support. BTW, did you check the FAQs?

many others have had this problem, including me. some people have fixed it by reinstalling and not installing the storage chest module on the fresh copy. I'm working on that now to see if it fixes it for me...
