I think Anora will travel to the free marches to start a rebelion against Alistait, or Alistair turnout to be a real bad ass and start to pilage the onrthen coste of the waking see.
Nothing in Origins that can be changed due to player decision will be a big factor in any future DA game. It just can't be done. She might be referenced but other than that.

I seriously hope Alistair comes back..=*( That's one of the main reasons I want to get DA2..(pathetic, i know)
The same here (waves hand). Alistair is one of the main reasons I got so captivated by this game, he makes my evenings and rises my mood whenever i'm sad or angry...
But i would actually like to see the whole party (with Alistair in the first row surely), or at least know what happens to them in the course of the years...
But still the best thing would be seeing Alistair and my Warden together, loyal to each other, possibly having children while saving the world again. Not a romance option, just want to know my Warden is happy with Alistair and that their story is continued... Both happy... *dreaming... true and eternal love...* Hawke will have his/her (most probably) own love story...

This is what I think will happen, as well. If 'exiled' Alistair turns out to be just a cameo in a bar, or something, I probably won't bother with a playthrough with that ending, because it doesn't really appeal, but if there's significant interaction--the ability to recruit him, or change the way he's living, it would be well worth the effort. I'm really hoping that whether he's king or exiled, he's integral to the plot in some way, although we know that he won't be featured as prominently as in DA:O. For me, this has been the best news about the game so far, and my main reason for buying it, given the other things that I find less appealing.ShrinkingFish wrote...

If it is Drunk Alistair, does that mean that Drunk Alistair is canon to the DA world, had we not been the one making certain decisions in DAO? Hmm...
No, it means he'll show up if you got that ending. I don't think that's the only cameo of Alistair they're putting in the game.
I think we will see either drunk Alistair, Warden Alistair, Or King Alistair.
I think a Warden Alistair would be interesting. Weisshaupt could have ordered him to command the Wardens there.
I'm curious to see what the default is if you don't import a character. I'm thinking Alistair will be king since thats is what happened if you rolled an Orlesian Warden for Awakening. Hence... Alistair becoming King would be cannonical...

It's the most appealing thing I've heard about DA2 yet.

Alistair is dead and buried. We gonna play with dead companions?
Seems unlikely.
If he died in your DA:O game, he'll probably still be six feet under if you import.
For everyone that left him alive for whatever reason, however, he'll probably show up in one fashion or another. And honestly, I'll admit it, I'm pretty stoked about that.

There's always someone who has to rain on others just because they can. So sad.... You do understand that not everyone has your ending, right?

I'd pay to see Drunk Alistair.

I think it's much less likely that they would bring SV back to do only one scenario, especially one that isn't the most common ending.

Steve Valentine tweeted that he was brought in to do voice work for DA2, and that he did 'lots of fun stuff', although a lot less than for DA:O. So he will be making an appearance in some way.Capt. Obvious wrote...
In all seriousness, I think there will be mentions of Alistair. But he doesn't need to make an appearance because he's not apart of the story. Though a Drunk Alistair in Starkhaven isn't such a bad idea.

The VA says that he did work for DA2, and we don't know if he's part of the story or not. Obviously he can't be integral but could be part of a side storyline.Capt. Obvious wrote...

Why's that? Al still can go to Srarkhaven, if you show him at the door and spare Loghain.. And that's in Free Marches..Gabey5 wrote...
no he wont. think about it, the only possible time would be when hawke is in ferelden. Hawke is going to gwaren and allistair is on his quest

Alistair can't leave Ferelden for any reason for the rest of his life? How do you figure that? Even as king, he could be on a diplomatic visit, or there is the scenario I suggested where he's leading a Fereldan army that's taking part in whatever big conflict is going to be going on- Qunari invasion, templar war etc. And, Gwaren???Gabey5 wrote...

Also, people who executed him just need to get over themselves. I could care less about Leliana and she got a whole freaking DLC, so just because you don't care about an NPC cameo doesn't mean others can't look forward to it.
