This is weird. In the build up to ME2 I was far more in line with the defenders of BW's direction. But with DA2, I wholeheartedly feel that BW should have maintained a more classic approach. Though I stand by my opinions of ME2.

Let's try to keep this discussion related to DA 2, please. Thank you.

A classic approach? Don't get me wrong, DA:O is awesome, but 3 races and 3 classes isn't particularly a classic rpg approach.
Honestly, when I found out about DA:O, I was horrified by the idea of being limited to fighter, thief or mage. Granted, the specialisations approximate other classes, bard to bard, templar to weird magic-based paladin, spirit healer to cleric, but it's not the same... but when I played the game I found that it worked far better than I expected and has become one of my favourite games.
I agree that there are things about DA2 that are a little worrying - voiced protagonists make me uncomfortable - but I think we'll find, when we play it, that the changes will work.

But Bioware made a mistake-they replaced OUR HERO with THEIR HERO.
This is what makes people angry.
No, that's what makes YOU angry.

isn't this title an oxymoron?
How can "my opinion" be in any way analytical? =/
I'm just gonna write this off as another angry rant.

Assuming Bioware is analyzing your opinion is the very definition of delusional narcissism
