The biggest issue was probably this build is not great for Hardcore and above.  Throw Field is just about useless above veteran, because of the shields and armor.  Wide Singularity is great lower but the Heavy holds more stuff  longer and as such lasts longer when armored and shielded enemies are in it.  A wide Singularity will disapate VERY quickly compared to a Heavy Singularity when you start loading it up, which on Hardcore and above means you die quicker.  Pull is much better maxed to pull field because it can pull guys out of cover as well as if a stripped guy is in a bunch you don't have to hit him, you can just get close and still have him affected.  Throw is good to have level one for insta kills and a quick knockback, but higher than Veteran it has very limited use.

Pull is also one of my most used skills on Hardcore, just because of the super quick cooldown, means you have a warp ready, or even a singularity if you need it for a boss or scion.  Once I hit pull field, most warp explosions are done off pull, for the quick regin especially with miranda on the squad...example...I pull, miranda warp explodes, I pull again, and then I warp explode, which gives 2 warp explosions in a very short 6-8 second time frame, which can be made even stronger with Thane in the group.

All powers available to the Adept are useful on Insanity - and below - even Shockwave though I don't use it on my Shep, but I like hanging around with Jack anyway ;)

I did make use of Jack's shockwave on insanity while playing an Engineer. So long as I can strip defenses on as wide a range of enemies quickly, then shockwave did wonders for then bowling them all over. As a Vanguard, I actually used shockwave to make the enemies stumble long enough for me to switch weapons.

ok is there a huge gap between a bastion and nemesis adept?

I remember debates on them when ME1 came out

Not really.

Back in ME1 the balance between the Nemesis and Bastion was a joke - Bastions gained god-like upgrades while the Nemesis gained, um, a slightly larger Lift.

Not so, here. Ultimately, it boils down to whether you want to lean towards artillery or crowd control. If you like your warp bombs and physics attacks, the 20% boost to damage is a big plus. If you want to primarily lock opponents down, Bastion's duration boost is useful.

Frankly, I go for Nemesis each time. Later on you really do start to notice the damage upgrade when you can flatten a whole squad with a single Pull-Warp combo.

The ME1 debate was pretty one-sided because in ME1 Bastion reduced recharge times on abilities.  Basically Nemesis provided specializations for Lift and Warp, in addition to damage and duration boosts.  But Bastion was a ton better because of the reduced recharge times and the specializations to Barrier (which basically allowed for a perma-Barrier for Adepts) and Stasis (the best 1-target lockdown tool...ever).

In ME2 it's pretty much the opposite, because Bastion no longer provides recharge time but does provide duration bonuses, while Nemesis provides damage.  Basically duration bonuses only affect Pull and Singularity (if I remember correctly) which makes it fairly useless...meaning Nemesis is quite simply the better choice.  But I seriously doubt that choosing one over the other will seriously affect your gameplay...it's more of an optimization issue than a make or break sort of deal.

The only time I'd recommend Bastion over Nemesis is if you need the 100% paragon/renegade point boost to get past some of the persuasion checks. But then I'd retrain right back to Nemesis after that.

I usually go for Bastion for the duration bonus - it's always nice your singularity lasts longer. Never noticed any real power boost with Nemesis. I just wear the BloodDragon armor for that.

I'm not sure if I gave squadmates much thought as an Adept. Once I got Samara and Thane, though, we were a nice team since biotic powers work so well in combination.

Armor doesn't make much of a difference, the bonus effects are marginal. Just wear whatever you think looks cool. I see you're playing Dragon Age too, so you must have access to the Blood Dragon armor - the best armor for an Adept (you will notice to +15% power damage).

I don't have a 360, but I heard it's possible to do some modding. Otherwise you can only get them after Horizon.

Just uploaded a new video: Asari Claymore Shepard :D
