I asked the very same thing 6 days ago, but nobody really seem to take an interest for it. =(

Track #12: Time would be amazing as the score during the game's climactic finale. Very epic yet dramatic.
Track #7: Mombasa would be great for a really intense action sequence.
Track #3: Dream Is Collapsing is another pretty intense, epic piece.
I'm guessing getting Hans Zimmer at this point is out of the question though.

I'm just hoping the tracks in DA2 are a bit longer than Origins- they looped far too much when exploring in Origins, I thought. That and some more variety in the music would be nice...

What I didn't care for was the fact that the music only played a few sections here and there. I would have prefered if the music was constant, rather than those long times of only hearing our armor rustling around while exploring.

I think if the overall ambient sounds in the levels were richer, you might not need the music playing on a loop quite so much and save it for the big moments. The Orzammar theme is permanently etched in my brain after travelling around there so much.
I mean, I loved how in ME2, each level pretty much had its own normal music and then its own combat music. I'm hoping we get something like that for DA2.
The thing with Inon Zur is that he makes great main themes, but then seemingly just integrates and repeats that theme in every other track in the game. The main theme for Origins is great, but its basically hidden in every other track and once you hear in most other tracks, they get really repetitive.

Hm, Lothering is another example of the music being too quiet for me to appreciate (also see the Calenhad docks music)... hearing it louder, there's a lot more there. Or maybe I'm just going deaf. Thing is, if I turn the volume up, the battle music becomes overly loud.
See I'm different, I see the softer tracks as the better, more unique pieces of work. The louder ones just felt like the stereotypical 80's fantasy tracks with the mechanical articulation and shifts, booming bass, and constant fortissimo's and con forza's just overpowering the atmosphere so to speak, most not even really fitting their scenes.
But yes, I expect Zur to be back, no real reason not to.

Yeah, and the Dalish camp theme... blegh, that's one of the few themes I genuinely didn't like. I didn't really mind the Orzammar theme looping though, I liked that one. Having more ambient sounds would be nice though.

If I'm in the deep roads, it should sound creepy with scary noises- think Dead Space.
Okay, so, yes, Dead Space was excellent with it's creepy noises and bizarre music. It really made the atmosphere come alive. But with DA, it seems the sound effects are seperate from the music. So I really don't think you can blame the music on that.
