I just completed persuading the Dalish to fight the blight. I brought Zathrian with me and used him to kill the W-wolfs. For a reward he gave me a 2H axe. I am a mage and am using Sten as one of my toons. I thought to give him the axe then I see its "For Grey Wardens Only". Now are the quest items randomized. And if not why would it give me an Item I cannot use, for myself or one of my followers? Coin is great but good items are the heart of any RPG. Also, does killing Zathrian give me anything different/better?
