If you'd been paying attention to what the devs have said, what they've clarified, what what we know, you wouldn't call it that. Read up on the facts first, not wild suppositions.

Yeah, it seems somebody is thinking they should be competing with Diablo 3. Won't work, and will alienated RPG gamers.

I hope English isn't your first language... but yes, I am willing to accept this game as a sequel, but I'll reserve my final judgement until the reviews come in.

The game will be a little different, but change isn't always a bad thing. No doubt some of the changes we will like, other's we'll hate - but there were things I did and did not like in the original, so that is just the reality of life.

Nowhere do I get the impression this game will be like Diablo ... however, I really enjoyed the Diablo series for what it was and *will* be buying D3 as well.

You actually managed to read something? You did better than me. All I got out of it was a random mishmash of letters.

Wow that was painful to read, maybe because english is not my first language^^

So far though I'm getting the impression that DA2 will be mostly like DAO when it comes to combat and controls. Maybe even slightly better.

I don't like what I hear or see at all. I won't know If I'll buy it until reviews start coming out. I didn't buy either of the Mass Effect games, and I may not buy this. It will depend on whether the story and characters seem like they will be intriguing and fun enough to make up for a style of gameplay that I don't enjoy. With Mass Effect, the answer to that was no. With DA2 it might be yes, it might be no--I can't know yet.

Despite your challenges with the english language, I agree with what you are trying to express. This doesn't seem like a sequel to DAO but a re-invention... and I'm not sure if I like it.

I'm not going to buy it, I'll probably just borrow it off of a friend. That is unless the debut trailer manages to changes my mind.

It looks to me to be largely similar to DAO with a few substantial changes to give its own feel.

- Yes we know we can only choose one race.
- Final... Fantasy? It does not look like Final Fantasy.. No no. Not judging from the screenshots.
- No, we cannot be sure. Because they said the PC combat would be alike but the console might be different yes.
- It may be similar.
- Cannot say because I do not understand what you are writing. Maybe it's because I'm not english.

I was and still is a bit sceptical myself but I try to be positive because judging beforehand is never a good idea.

If you play the console version, then sure.

I'm still wanting to see more about the PC version, since that's all I care about.  PC gameplay is the big issue for me, and it is what my decisions will hinge on.

I'll buy DA2 and Diablo 3 if/when my friends get it. Maybe SC2, still not sure on that one.

I will likely get it, though I won't preorder it (burned too badly by Mass Effect 2. This time I'll check personal reviews first, not assume Bioware can do no wrong) I have a few concerns, but haven't heard anything yet that really worries me.

I'm disappointed by the single origin, but can live with it (I just hope Bioware continues to incorporate origins in future products)

I have no problem with a premade character, provided we can further customize the character to really make it our own. I had fun playing as The Nameless One, JC Denton, Geralt of Rivia, and Michael Thorton. Done well, I could also have fun playing as Hawke.

Voice acting? I'll take a wait-and-see attitude on this, since I have no idea what Hawke will sound like.

No Warden? Honestly, when I heard this, my first thought was "Good." Bioware has shown with Mass Effect 2 that direct sequels are definitely not their forte. Besides, it's pretty clear that Grey Wardens don't get to live long happy lives. I'd rather not watch my Wardens slowly turn into ghouls as the sequels progress.
