I like Dragon Age as a RPG not a action game. But i think to many people like the simple action games and less the rpg with more dialog, decisions, inventory, options...
How many years need Bioware to develope DAO?
How many years need for make DA2?
I think it's a commercial choice.
It's only a opinion, but i think DAO it's cool like this. A RPG masterpiece.
I think Bioware = Masterpieces i hope the future with EA as the same, and not action commercial games.

It looks to me to be largely similar to DAO with a few substantial changes to give its own feel.
Own Feel as in, "a console game".
God, you are dumb as a brick. Every post you make is terrible.

Aslong as the gameplay is still fun, the story is still good, and I can impact it with choices I make, I'll get it.
well every game of bioware is good and fun
but the question is if you accept that this game wont be an rpg!! it will be action game so it still be a good action game..but dont you care? that the rpg days are over?
ther tons of action games in the market...rpg is rare but even it is rare dao prove that it can still be a hit!!
take games like bg1,2 fallout 1,2 ,kotor, planscape torment , arcanum , nwn , and also dao is belong to this games ...da2 isent belong her so it dosent bother you?
so what if it will be fun and good game..it wont be the same for me so i wont play it..

I'm going to buy it, regardless.
I've been reiterating more or less the same points: I'm disappointed w/ some of the stuff I've read so far, particularly 'Hawke' replacing 'my Warden', but I'll still buy it, if only to see how the story progresses.
I'm ok w/ the art/graphics/visuals that have been shown so far. If there's anything I want them to fix (and I can't judge yet because there aren't enough pics or any vids yet) is the Atmosphere: DA:O, IMHO, could've been so much better if it handled 'Atmosphere' (lighting/mood, etc.) better. A good, recent example of, IMHO, great Atmosphere is The Witcher.
As for mechanics: it's too early to judge. That and I don't really care: I've played my fair share of various CRPGs and PnP RPGs and can, thus, adapt.
I just HOPE they don't 'dumb it down' (I was actually fine/pleased w/ DA:O's system/mechanics. Melee could be a wee bit faster, I think, but other than that, it was fine).

Give me character customisation and let me make choices in the storyline and it's an RPG IMO. So the RPG days aren't really over IMO.

No seriously (hmm...I actually am serious, I am gonna buy both)...how can everyone already know how the game will look like after some words and a handfull random screenies? ...
I rather wait for some gameplay Videos or at least the Trailer (though it probably wont feature gameplay)

yeah a Full Blooded Gamer who already enjoyed the Baldurs Gate Series and the following Bioware titles and played trough them several times
But you're right in the other case too, I also enjoy games like God of War, Battlefield Series or the Total War series.
BUT I hate MW2
