WHO TELLS YOU HAWKE JUST FLED. JESUS TAPDANCING CHRIST. Why do so many people assume that Hawke just said "boo hoo hoo, I don't even have my brown pants" and chickened out leaving the darkspawn to slaughter innocents. Maybe he fled carrying five disabled orphans on his shoulders. Maybe he fled after sweeping a box of kittens away from the darkspawn- and even if he (I am using exclusively the male pronoun out of laziness) did not commit some selfless act of heroism, it's not like dying in Lothering would have slowed down the darkspawn. The less people die, the better.

Also, even if he "fled the the Blight like a coward", surely to become Champion of Kirkwall and stuff he must be a pretty exceptional individual.

Also, food for thought, the Warden "fled" from Lothering as well. Does that make him/her a coward? Maybe Hawke too has something heroic to do in other places, just like the Warden.

People simply don't know the circumstances yet, and conjuring worst case scenarios is more fun to do on forums. :wizard:

Yeah I even heard some silly guys claiming players won't have choice of creating their own characters with unique backstories like they had in DAO with dwarfs and elves. Such silliness:wizard:

I know! Clearly any game that doesn't give you multiple origins and races is not an RPG, not a good story and doomed to failure. Crazy! What RPG does that, anyway?

Thankful Dragon Age Origins gave you multiple origins and races ! Keep them coming in the sequel guys!:wizard:

True, who could think that a game called Origins might have origins that were specific to Origins?

In other words-- I get the fact that you liked them, but the rage-flailing thing you're doing isn't exactly helping your case much. We're okay with having a single, solid opening to our story now that Origins has introduced our world. If you're absolutely not, and one story opening isn't going to cut it for you no sir, then there really isn't much more to talk about, is there?

I reserve my right to criticise any commercial product that requires me to spent money on it.

We only require you to spend money on it if you intend to play.

If you don't intend to play our game, and wish to take your ball and go home-- okay! Totally fair. No money from you. That's how it works. If, however, you intend to barge into every thread and announce your beef no matter what the thread is discussing-- I'd ask you not to do that, unless you wish to be shown the door. That's rude.

You are selling a commercial product. As a potential buyer I reserve the right to complain about its quality and form. If the forum of your company and products you are selling is reserved only for praises of your product-state it openly here and now.

Don't be ridiculous. I will repeat, however, that barging into every thread to drag it off-topic just because you have a beef not even related to the thread will get you kicked out of these forums. You are a guest on our forums just as you would be a guest in any store you might wander into in your travels-- and rude behavior here will have the same result as rude behavior there.
