Can someone please clarify the purpose of a "personal storage" is both Solider's Peak and Vigil's Keep if upon completion of the game we're no longer able to access either of them or the contents we've collected?
I have accumliated a lot of cool stuff and I would like to access them in either a new and/or continual game...I was profoundly disappointed to discover that Awaking no longer allowed me access to the rest of Ferelden--especialy my storage in Solider's Peak, which should have been accessible in Awaking--hopefully both the Keep and Peak's personal storages will be accessible in the new DA2.
It would be nice to be able to access the map and places in it for exploration, skill advancements, and item's gathering without the need of quest.
Just my two cents...

Wrong forum. This is the DA2 forum.
And in any case, its pretty simple. You have limited inventory space, and some people like to hold on to more things than they can hold on their character at one time, or they want to keep inventory space for finding new things.

They should make party storage available at camp. But they should also redo the crafting interface so that you can use other party members to craft at camp instead of having to drag them out somewhere just to make poultices. That was especially annoying when using characters to runecraft in Awakening, even worse since Ambassador Cera (the only runecraft supplier) was only reachable in camp.

Why on earth would Hawke raid your Warden's storage chest? Honestly, the way to get around the Awakening issue is to just have your character have the stuff in their inventory when you import.
Camp Storage however is simply a must have.

Thanks Venn...As for you Lord Saulot, my question does pertain to DA2 since Awakening (in my assessment) lack the connectibility back into the areas of DA Origins. I have plenty of space (for myself--124 in fact), but there are equipment(s) that I have (for other characters or even for myself as I become stronger) that I would like access to since I have them already rather than have to re-acquire them...therefore, my inquiry pertains to DA2 since I would like to be able to access those stores of the previous games (origins/awakening) when DA2 is played.
I agree Celticon..I found the new Runecrafting skill interesting but not very convenient since one had to take them somewhere in order to have them use that or the potion skill.
Well, sometimes things don't import...I held Asturian's Might--but it did not import to Awakening and started off with only Ducan's Dagger and my bow (and some things in my backpack).
